KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES * Thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purpose. * Ability to recognize operational inconsistencies and hazards in the workplace and display proper judgment in responding to them. * Ability to read and comprehend instructional manuals, instruction sheets, technical data, blueprints, work orders and mechanical drawings in English. * Thorough knowledge and understanding of occupational hazards connected with machine shop and general plant practices with emphasis on the necessity of safety policy compliance. * Able to work varying shifts, overtime, holidays, on call duty and emergency call-ins. * Communication skills - verbal and written. * Ability to operate a computer. * Experience in troubleshooting and repair of flow meters, PLC's, VFD's, transmitters, motors, switchgear and other process control equipment. We are looking for an experienced industrial electrician for our water solutions segment. This role executes all assigned work safely, effectively, and efficiently within the general scope for the maintenance electrician role. Provides feedback on preventative maintenance that might improve the process and notes additional work required on inspected equipment. Responds to emergency or unplanned work as needed, including callouts. Works on plant modifications, including work on capital improvements. Participates in the operation of plant utility systems. In this role you'll be responsible for: Supporting and advancing the site safety culture Utilizing your strong background in preventative and predictive maintenance, reliability, and plant utilities to advance plant initiatives Having a working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements Having equipment-specific knowledge and trouble shooting experience with boilers, steam systems, DC power supplies (rectifier-transformers), 3 and single phase motors and electrochemical processes.
