We seek a professional with data center market expertise to lead Siemens' push-pull strategy, driving low-voltage Circuit Protection & Controls components into project specifications and ensuring acceptance at the engineering level, while partnering with Power OEMs through our AMPLIFY Platform.
This role combines technical influence, strategic account engagement, thought leadership, and business development, positioning Siemens as the preferred solution for mission-critical data center projects.
The Power OEM Business Development team is part of the Circuit Protection & Controls (CP&C) segment within Siemens Smart Infrastructure - Electrical Products (SI EP). We provide low-voltage electrical components for industrial, infrastructure, energy, and commercial applications-focused on monitoring, switching, controlling, and protecting AC/DC circuits under 1000V.
Our customers, Power Original Equipment Manufacturers (P-OEMs), build apparatus systems under UL 67 (panelboards), UL 891 (switchboards), UL 1558 (LV switchgear), and UL 1008 (transfer switches).
You will make an impact with the following responsibilities:
Specification & Market Influence
* Develop and execute a pull strategy to ensure Siemens components are specified in data center projects.
* Engage with MEP Engineers of Record (EoR) to influence specifications down to the component level.
* Collaborate with Siemens Electrical Products teams focused on the data center vertical.
* Track projects where Siemens is specified and monitor OEM pursuit activity using SieSales.
Business Development & Market Expansion
* Engaging holistically with internal stakeholders and external partners to accelerate innovations that set Siemens apart as the definitive benchmark in the Data Center market. Organize customer awareness events, technical seminars, and webinars.
* Represent Siemens at tradeshows and industry events to build visibility and generate leads.
* Deliver technical papers, presentations, and case studies to establish thought leadership.
* Build strategic relationships with hyperscalers, co-location providers, enterprise operators, and engineering influencers.
* Conduct competitive analysis and monitor industry trends for new opportunities.
Application Focus
* Drive specifications for Siemens low-voltage components in power distribution systems:

Collaboration & Push-Pull Strategy
* Work closely with Key Account and Regional BDMs and their OEM partners serving the data center market.
* Become the Data Center subject matter expert for our Power OEM BD and CP&C Sales teams
* Provide qualified leads and collaborate on joint strategies to win projects.
* Establish a push-pull dynamic between specifying engineers, end users, EPCs, and OEMs to ensure Siemens components are specified and delivered.

**Eligibility Requirement:**

The base pay range for this position is $176,000- $293,300. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on December 31, 2025.

**Qualifications:**
+ Experience in aerospace/defense, highly regulated industries, or mission-critical corporate functions (Legal, HR, Finance, Compliance, Security)
+ Proven expertise building and scaling data lake platforms and patterns on major clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
+ Hands-on depth with MPP and distributed data processing
+ Strong data modeling across OLTP and OLAP; dimensional, data vault, and canonical modeling approaches
+ Mastery of ELT/ETL tooling and orchestration (e.g., dbt, Informatica, Talend, Airflow, Azure Data Factory, Glue)
+ Strong SQL and at least one programming language (Python/Scala/Java); experience with APIs, event-driven patterns, and files (JSON, Avro, Parquet)
+ Data governance tooling and practices (Collibra, Alation), metadata/lineage (OpenLineage, built-in catalogs), and data quality frameworks
+ Security and privacy by design: encryption, tokenization, masking, key management, IAM/RBAC/ABAC; exposure to SOC2, SOX, GDPR, CCPA, ITAR/EAR considerations
+ Experience defining data product standards, semantic layers (e.g., semantic modeling in BI/ML stacks), and self-service analytics enablement
+ Familiarity with MDM patterns and tools; reference data management at enterprise scale
+ Executive communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills in a matrixed environment
