Summary of Responsibilities A Behavioral Health Practitioner (BHP) works under the direction and supervision of a Clinical Manager, providing community-based behavioral health services to individuals with psychiatric illness, substance use issues and/or co-occurring disorders. Job Description Social Worker Assistant Reports to: Regional Social Worker Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Social Work required Enrolled in Mater's Social Work Program preferred Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepares and maintains an inventory of services offered by community health and welfare agencies. Maintains direct contacts and close working relationships with the community's public and private health and welfare agencies. Assists school social worker in developing strategies for using the community's resources to help resolve family problems and thus improve the student's learning opportunities. Performs limited work with individual students and/or parents relating to the basic social, emotional, or physical needs as they might affect student attendance, adjustment, and school performance. Maintains records prepared by the school social worker and maintains the confidentiality of these records.

About the Internship FLIPANY is seeking motivated individuals 18 years and older who are passionate about community health and wellness.
