The preferred candidates would provide crisis stabilization services to adults, adolescents and children who are at imminent risk of hospitalization or an out of home placement. The counselors will work with identified individuals who are experiencing acute and severe mental health conditions in the community setting. Mobile Crisis Response at CSS is implemented utilizing a Team Approach, consisting of a team of two (2) Professionals who are a part of a integral Clinical team consisting of a Clinical Supervisor dedicated to their team, as well as Clinical Manager, and Clinical Director. Supervision for Mobile Crisis Response Teams at CSS are done in "Real Time", and during the implementation of services weekly. This can be up to 6 Supervisions weekly between you and your QMHP teammate. Clinical MCR teams at CSS cannot consists of teams where both individuals are QMHP's. Must hold a state independent license such as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LMCH, This position has the primary responsibility of providing the full breadth of Child and Youth Behavioral (CYB) counseling services to children of all ages of military service members and their families at military installations and off military installations. These services may include non-medical counseling, training/ health and wellness presentations, consultation with parents, personnel, schools, and consultation to installation command regarding behavioral health issues affecting children and youth. CYB School counselors will be assigned to Department of Defense (DoDEA) schools and community schools and will need to have experience working in a school setting to qualify for a school position. CYB School counselors will also be assigned to youth programs, summer camps, and on demand assignments. The counselors work closely with the installation and military branch Points of Contact (POC) to assure that the program is provided within scope and meets the needs of the installation and the schools. * Provides non-medical, short-term, solution focused, counseling directly to eligible children and youth of service members at assigned primary and secondary locations. Duties include (but are not limited to): Seeing clients in the community such as the client's home Providing 1-1 mental health counseling related to goals Providing skill building to adults with serious mental illness Taking adult clients to appointments Taking adult clients to link with resources in the community Case Management to ensure client's basic needs are met Providing individual and family counseling to children and adolescents Completing individualized services plans Completing quarterly reports Completing progress notes for each session with a client Providing information for authorization of services Meeting regularly for supervision Attendance at team meetings Maintaining ongoing communication with your Clinical Supervisor EMS of Virginia has been in business since 2005.
