Primary Purpose of Job:
This position provides both physical and administrative security services for the Company. It protects employees, customers, authorized visitors, vendors, and QuikTrip and private property from harm; and deters illegal activity, theft, and vandalism within and upon QuikTrip's property while preserving QuikTrip brand reputation as the convenience retail destination of choice. This position also provides research and documentation for security incidents occurring on QuikTrip property.
Major Functions of this position:
Conducts interior and exterior security checks of store grounds and as directed, Non-Store facilities. Essential tasks include:
Identifying, reporting, and mitigating (within capabilities under the circumstances) observed life, fire, or safety hazards.
Conducts appropriate notification to Corporate Security Operations Center to coordinate Emergency Responder or specialized services response if life, fire, or safety hazard requires immediate attention.
Ensures internal sensitive areas and external access/egress points are secured per Corporate Security Standards.
For observed unsecured locations, determines whether site can or should be secured or suspicious circumstances necessitate notification to appropriate Corporate Security Contact.
Ensures personnel and vehicles observed within and on Store property and Non-Store Facilities have legitimate business need for access.
Initiates appropriate protocols, per QuikTrip Policies and Procedures for unauthorized personnel or vehicles.
Logs results, actions taken, and unresolved mitigation measures for all hazards and security checks conducts and disseminates to appropriate Security/ Operations leadership.
Designated primary responder for Security Incident Response for incidents that occur within and upon Store property, and as directed, Non-Store facilities:
Enforces Corporate Security Incident Response policies, secures scene and potential evidence, renders first aid, and directs traffic, if required.
Responds to security alarms and calls for assistance.
Provides security during the transportation of large sums of cash and/or other valuables, as directed.
Determines whether particular incidents require Corporate Security Operations Center notification and to coordinate Emergency Responder or other appropriate specialized services response.
For those security incidents meriting an “escalation of force,” Security Officers have, in certain circumstances, the authority to temporarily detain another person pursuant to state law and in compliance with Corporate Firearm Safety and Use of Force Policies.
Conducts research, documentation, and preparation of evidentiary case files for security incidents occurring on QT property. Essential tasks include:
Interviewing complainants, witnesses, and victims to document relevant facts.
Maintains an auditable, digital archive record of every Security Incident case file created and logs data into the Security Department's case management system.
Prepares law enforcement reports on behalf of QuikTrip Corporation for those Security Incidents meriting law enforcement investigation.
Secures and safeguards Lost and Found property. Essential tasks include:
Appropriately securing lost/found property
Updating/entering details in the Lost and Found Database
Attempting to locate, then transfer custody of property to lawful owner
Disposing of unclaimed property per Corporate Security Policy
Perform other Security/Operations-related tasks and functions as directed by Management, including:
Physical Security Assessments of QuikTrip Stores and Non-Store Facilities per Corporate Enterprise Security System Standards.
Maintains 24/7 recall readiness to respond to QuikTrip Corporation-related incidents on a rotational schedule.
Additional duties may require travel to and from any of the states QuikTrip Corporation conducts business to perform Protective Services-related missions. These duties will include the requirement to have and maintain an current and valid driver's license.
Must satisfactorily complete annual Physical Aptitude Test, Weapon Qualification, TASER re-certification. Emergency First Aid (CPR-AED) re-certification, Blood Borne Pathogens, NARCAN, Defensive Tactics, Active Shooter, Legal Update, and Mental Health Update per Corporate Policy as well as submit to annual 10-panel drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record check.
Customer Relations:
Comply with customer service standards as outlined in Policies & Procedures, Standards of Store Operations, Customer Service Appraisal Program, and the Food Service Appraisal Program.
Ensure personal appearance is clean and professional looking as stated in Policies & Procedures.
Comply with local, state, and federal laws pertaining to responsible retailing, anti-trust, anti-money laundering, ADA Compliance, Food Safety, and EBT programs.
Ensure customer safety by correcting or bringing harmful situations (wet floors, icy sidewalks, oil spills, etc.) to the attention of the Manager on duty, and (when feasible) remediating the condition or ensuring appropriate notice/warning of the condition (wet floor signs) is in place until such condition can be remediated.
Store Appearance: Complete UpKeep tasks and assigned tasks by complying with QT Standards of Store Operations and Career Development Tasks Guides. This includes, but is not limited to:
Stocking straws, cups, napkins, and condiments

This includes identifying the need for medically-related social services and ensuring that these services are provided in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
Essential Functions:
Complete or delegate the completion of the social services component of the comprehensive assessment and contribute to and/or direct/delegate contribution of social services goals and approaches to the comprehensive care plan. These goals and interventions will be individualized to match the skills, abilities, and interests/preferences of each resident in compliance with Federal and State regulations, to include identifying and promoting individualized, non-pharmacological approaches to care that meet the mental and psychosocial needs of each resident.

Assist in the process of Advance Care Planning for each resident upon admission and make sure any Advance Directives are reviewed with the resident/resident representative on a regular basis. Participate in facility policy development in order to positively impact the quality of care delivered to residents.
Ensures that staff members are knowledgeable about Resident's Rights and encourages staff to maintain and enhance each resident's dignity in recognition of each resident's individuality. Advocate for residents and assist them in assertion of their rights within the facility. Report any allegations or suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation to the Director/Administrator and appropriate State agency and assist in a thorough investigation into the allegation.
Ensure residents who display mental illness or psychosocial difficulties such as coping with grief and loss, will have access to appropriate treatment and resources.
Work alongside other departments to ensure the facility is in compliance with Trauma Informed Care. Ensure all residents are assessed for trauma upon admission and on a regular basis and that trauma and corresponding interventions are reflected on the care plan.
Assist with the grievance process and educate staff, as well as residents and families of the grievance process.

Job Title: Bilingual BHIS Caseworker Location: Downtown Des Moines, IA Pay for this position is posted at: $20.00 hourly Schedule for this position: varied Position Overview: As a Bilingual Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS) Caseworker, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of Iowa kids and their families. Key Responsibilities:
Utilize creative interventions to modify the psychological, behavioral, emotional, cognitive, and social factors to help the youth make healthy/positive choices.
Completing intake interview and paperwork, creating treatment plans with families, writing discharge summaries
Provide family support and promote positive parenting skills in an effort to promote self-sufficiency.
Provide professional service by maintaining staff/client relationship boundaries.
Engage and coach youth and families in skill development (i.e. coping, communication, problem solving, etc.)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in social sciences field plus a minimum of 1 year of experience or 20 hours training in child mental health OR bachelor's degree in non-social science field plus a minimum of 2 years' experience or 30 hours training in child mental health.
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Flexibility to work evenings to better serve our clients
Excellent time management and ability to manage your own schedule
Ability to engage youth and family
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous caseworker experience such as BHIS, FSRP, etc. is helpful
Valid driver's license and driving record that meets agency guidelines

Responsibilities include: Under general supervision, performs daily cleaning as assigned to maintain the Clinic in a sanitary, attractive and orderly condition. Duties include vacuum, dust, clean restrooms, sterilize buildings and remove waste paper and possible medical waste in offices, exam rooms and/or waiting areas. Able to lift 75 lbs. Will need Hepatitis B and TB immunizations (we provide). Will be exposed to common cleaning chemicals.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** :
+ Obtains social history information and identifies patient needs by interviewing the patient/family, reviewing the medical record, conferring with physicians and appropriate medical center staff and contacting other information sources as necessary and appropriate.
+ Analysis and evaluation of patient situation is based on a thorough consideration of the patient's psychosocial situation.
+ Develops individualized psychosocial case plans based on assessment and in conjunction with other members of the health care delivery team. Implements plan and monitors patient 's progress.
+ Arranges for and/or coordinates a broad spectrum of discharge planning services. Consults with physicians, medical center staff, patient/family to determine patient's post-hospital needs and plans.
+ Provides patient/family with information on options/resources available and strategies for utilizing these resources. Assists with all necessary referrals.
**MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED** :
+ Bachelor's degree in social work, required.
+ Understands medical terminology
+ Knowledgeable regarding clinical interviewing techniques.
+ Knowledgeable regarding social work principles, standards and ethics.
+ Basic understanding of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and child/dependent adult laws and regulations are desired.
+ Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
