Responsibilities. Responsible for developing and directing the delivery of software programs, including designing, building and testing various software technologies and application program in accordance with a specific business need and in a way that achieves the development goals for assigned projects. Work as a part of a scrum team to plan, estimate, and deliver product features for ADP's enterprise content management platform and AV Collab platforms. Employ modern application development and agile principles to develop high quality deliverables that meet business objectives. Participate in relevant aspects of SoftwareDevelopment Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, constructions, testing, reviews, and demonstrations. Develop and review software requirements, create design documents, write programs, and package, test, configure, and deploy software. Work with clients, product managers, analysts, architects, and engineers to plan, design, develop, test, and implement information technology solutions. Develop and enhance software programs and data structures that meet business objectives. Design, develop, test, and refine software deliverables. Review and create system, software, and functional design specifications. Actively mentor and coach less experienced Developers. Take product ownership and accountability for development support and actively communicate with business stakeholders. Automate unit testing and functional testing for new solutions. Setup database structures and relationships, develop application workflows, create application logic, create integration interfaces via Web Services, and create Graphical User Interface Layouts. Develop Operating Procedures, User Guides, Run Books and other technical documentation for solutions developed.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus five (5) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and two (2) years of related experience.
Work Experience. One (1) year of experience must include: HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, and jQuery; C# and Java; JavaScript frameworks (Angular and React); MS SQL, Oracle, and MongoDB; Apache; UI/UX design; J2EE development; Managing Java applications and architecture; Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate or Spring Cloud; Building and deploying solutions; Web applications using HTML5, JQuery, and JavaScript; Consuming and Creating REST APIs; Developing Logging and Error Handling scenarios; Developing Exception handling scenarios; Node.js, Angular or REACT; Linux or UNIX; JSON or XML; Load testing tools, including JMeter, Gatling, and Load Runner; and Agile methodologies.
