Interns will have the ability to work side-by-side with a highly skilled mentor in their field.
Primary Responsibilities
-Building of customer specified equipment of various sizes, styles and complexities
-Read and comprehend a variety of different types of customer drawings and specifications including work instructions, procedures, etc.
-Use manual and power hand tools, gages, etc.
-Using basic knowledge of electrical panel building and associated wiring
-Help solve assembly problems
-Finishing/inspecting parts per print specifications

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking full-time paid Interns to join our Corporate offices team in the Summer of 2026! These opportunities will be full-time, generally Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm for approximately 12 weeks (May - August). Job Purpose
The Hydraulic Engineering team is responsible for the design, validation, and integration of hydraulic systems and components across CNH machinery. By ensuring reliable system performance, the team plays a critical role in supporting equipment productivity and advancing new product development.
As a Hydraulic System Engineer Intern, you will work closely with a team of five hydraulic engineers-one of whom will serve as your mentor-to gain hands-on experience in system design, validation planning, and prototype support.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities may include:
* Supporting system and component design work for hydraulic applications in agricultural and construction machinery
* Assisting in the creation and execution of validation plans to ensure performance, durability, and safety requirements are met
* Contributing to prototype machine builds, helping integrate hydraulic systems and resolve engineering challenges
* Collaborating with engineers to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements
* Learning industry standards and applying engineering practices to support both new product development and continuous improvement efforts
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is USD $19.00 - $31.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
