* Serve as the site expert for maintaining automation systems critical to operations

SUMMARY

Position Summary
As a Samsung Austin Semiconductor Transmission Electron Microscopy Engineer, you'll be responsible to develop, optimize and maintain recipes for various tools and processes involved in fully automated TEM analysis workflow, including but not limited to automated TEM sample preparation using focused ion beam, automated TEM imaging and automated measurement of critical dimensions.
Additional functions of this engineer position include basic tool operation, alignment, calibration & maintenance, development of software or automated processes for better throughput, quality & TAT, acceptance and provision of peer trainings, et al.

The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $179,090. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Job Summary
The Software Developer, Senior develops high-level applications for the System. This includes design, implementation, and testing of applications. Provides advanced technical expertise and product knowledge to ensure successful implementation and help. Provides full leadership in project implementations. Works with users to support business applications and specifications.
Essential Functions of the Role
* Builds, implements and tests new applications, upgrades, enhancements, database designs, and performs maintenance to ensure system compatibility.
* Ensures appropriate integration of new applications or projects with existing technical environment.
* Trains and assists in the development of personnel, encouraging cross-training efforts to build team technical skill sets.
* Establishes technical standards and guidelines for effective programming.
* Verifies that user manuals are kept current.
* Maintains experienced knowledge of current technology.
* Composes technical documentation for development and help processes.
* Meets with customers and works with the Business Analysts to create software requirements, architecture, testing plan, and release documentation.
* Conceive, experiment with, and present architectural approaches for software applications.
* Ensure architectural integrity and consistency across the entire product.

* 5+ years professional software development experience.
* Solid Biztalk development experience.
* Demonstrated knowledge and usage of object oriented design rules.
* Proven team oriented developer with demonstrated ability to deliver quality solutions on time.
* Prior participation in an entire product development life cycle.
* Solid experience with C# and .NET technologies.
* XML/XSLT.
* SQLServer 2000/2005/2008, SQL and T-SQL comprehension.
* Visual Studio 2003/2005/2008 development.
* Experience developing windows forms and windows services solutions.
* Exceptional written and verbal skills.
* MSF Agile or CMMI process.
* Healthcare standards and regulatory requirements.
