SLP Job Duties include:
A Speech Language Pathologist-Pediatrics delivers excellent family-centered patient care, that aims to support functional goals and needs of the patient and their family. SLPs perform assessments and interpretation of evaluations and test results; determines speech therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription, and carries out a treatment plan that supports functional improvement across the lifespan.

Help patient accomplish goals outlined in treatment plan and effective use of therapeutic devices and strategies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
· Develop systematic procedures for the review of diagnostic finding, instructional and clinical methods for uses with designated students.
· Use available methods, techniques, and materials to compare to accomplish the goals and objectives for each designated student.
· Use formal methods for evaluating and documenting the student's progress in achieving specific objectives and terminal goals.
· Participate in the eligibility and planning required for development of the IEP when a communication disorder is present.
