Pull backlogs, pull stock, and create bills of lading for customer shipments. Send ASNs and required paperwork to customers. Inspect the quality of raw materials visually or with a gauge as needed. Responsible for total quality of products and services and authorized to stop work when a non conformance is noted. Perform assigned quality system functions as specified in QMS procedures. Perform other responsibilities as determined by the supervisor. Observe established EHS regulations, procedures, and practices. Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Required Skills and Abilities Able to read and interpret documents i.e. safety rules, work instructions, prints, and control plans. Ability to use various measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, and other hand tools. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Must work effectively in a team. Must have excellent attention to detail. Experience operating a forklift truck preferred. Prior manufacturing experience is a bonus. Experience operating a Combi is a bonus. Physical Requirements The noise level in the work environment is usually loud; hearing protection is provided and required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, coolant, or airborne particles and will work near moving mechanical parts. Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
