The position will also provide hydrogeology support to the Water Resources Business Line. This position is based out of Stantec's West Palm Beach office. The Hydrogeologist will report to a Hydrogeologist Team Leader and will be responsible for designing, supporting, and executing hydrogeological investigations for dewatering, water supply, and aquifer recharge studies for water supply clients. This candidate also will be responsible for leading a large capacity production well design and construction projects. The successful candidate should have a background in drilling groundwater production wells, familiar with deep injection well construction, ability to oversee and support groundwater flow modeling, field investigations, conduct aquifer performance tests, project management, and technical report writing. This position interacts with both internal and external clients in field and office settings. The position requires travel to sites, primarily in the central Florida area. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary for the position. Education and Experience * Minimum of an B.S. (M.S. preferred) in Hydrogeology/Geology/Geochemistry or related field is required. * Experience and/or course work completed in geology, hydrogeology, and production well design and construction, and aquifer test analysis is required. * A minimum of 5 years of working experience in consulting, mining or similar field requiring regularly using and analyzing hydrogeologic data. * Existing professional registration in Florida or ability to work towards a professional registration (PG).
