Your Opportunity
The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of transportation design build projects across North America for large and mid-size construction. May manage technical employees, work planning, technical design management and oversight, project delivery, quality management, contract administration, change management, and risk management. This position can be based in any of Stantec's Florida offices and will require the ability to travel regionally as needed, especially to other Stantec and client offices within Florida.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to initiatives to help advance our project design, operations, and business development
* Work in a manner to protect the health and safety of Stantec employees, clients, and the public by following company health, safety and security guidelines and policies
* Maintain and enhance our reputation with clients, approval agencies and industry professionals as an outstanding service provider
* May manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Establish project objectives, procedures, and performance standards
* Lead multi-disciplinary teams on major projects from positioning to proposals, planning studies, feasibility through final designs, and construction services
* Be the key person and point of contact, performing design, deputy design, or quality manager roles on major projects
* Represent Stantec and the project design team as a technical leader on major projects
* Identify appropriate resources and skill sets to achieve project objectives. Manage contract tasks, track, and manage costs and schedule, and implement measures necessary to stay on schedule and within budget
* Lead by example with active support of internal policies and practices, including risk management, project management, and quality management
* Grow internal and external networks to enhance Stantec reputation and identify additional talent to join our team
* Develop Client relationships to facilitate project activities
* Establish, maintain, and promote partnerships in project pursuits
Your Capabilities and Credentials
* Experience leading the design and construction support as a Design Manager of complex transportation projects
* Experience in the preparation of presentations utilizing PowerPoint
* Experience developing, negotiating, and managing project scopes, schedules, and budgets
* Business development and marketing skills experience required
* Ability to lead, motivate, mentor, and develop a team of technical and professional staff
* Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in a dynamic and energetic environment
* Experience with APD projects across a region or nationally preferred
Education and Experience
* Minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive engineering and project management experience on large transportation projects, including at least ten (10) in design management
* Completion of a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree at an accredited institution
* Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensed or ability to get within 6 months, and the ability to get licensed in states as needed to support the assigned pursuit

Your Opportunity
We are seeking a Hydrogeologist to support our expanding business in Florida and throughout the Gulf Region. The position will also provide hydrogeology support to the Water Resources Business Line. This position is based out of Stantec's West Palm Beach office. The Hydrogeologist will report to a Hydrogeologist Team Leader and will be responsible for designing, supporting, and executing hydrogeological investigations for dewatering, water supply, and aquifer recharge studies for water supply clients. This candidate also will be responsible for leading a large capacity production well design and construction projects. The successful candidate should have a background in drilling groundwater production wells, familiar with deep injection well construction, ability to oversee and support groundwater flow modeling, field investigations, conduct aquifer performance tests, project management, and technical report writing. This position interacts with both internal and external clients in field and office settings. The position requires travel to sites, primarily in the central Florida area. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary for the position.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Follow safe work practices and adhere to company and client guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner.
* Develop new well designs for groundwater monitoring and groundwater production.
* Design field investigations in support of hydrogeology studies including drilling, well construction, and testing oversight; groundwater sampling; and water level monitoring.
* Prepare technical reports documenting field investigations and analytical results.
* Prepare and deliver presentations of hydrogeologic investigations to internal and external clients.
* Ability to mentor junior staff and provide input to improve hydrogeologic interpretations or client deliverables.
* Assist project managers with developing project budgets, determining project scope, and establishing project schedules.
* Excellent communication skills: verbal, business writing, electronic communications, and presentations (record of publications, project reports, and/or public presentations will be requested).
* Ability to work independently and provide a supervisory role in the field at remote sites.

Education and Experience
* Minimum of an B.S. (M.S. preferred) in Hydrogeology/Geology/Geochemistry or related field is required.

* A minimum of 5 years of working experience in consulting, mining or similar field requiring regularly using and analyzing hydrogeologic data.

Your Role:
* The successful candidate must be able to use Building Information Modeling software (preferably Autodesk Revit), provide engineering drafting/design support for process piping and mechanical work on Municipal, Industrial, and Commercial water and wastewater treatment plant and pump station projects.
* Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to set up and manage construction drawings
* Prepare dimensional drawings, create and/or modify base drawings
* Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes
* Create and manage electronic document file structure, naming conventions in accordance with company standards
* Work a typical set of project documents from beginning to end with professional quality output
* Work on multiple projects at the same time to successful completion
* Follow CAD/BIM standards, whether the customer's or Tetra Tech's
* Work with project teams on drawings which meet and exceed the customer's requirements (bid and submittal phase).
Required Qualifications:
* Associate's degree of completion in CAD drafting or related field from a technical trade school, plus at least two years of related work experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
* Experience using Autodesk Revit for process piping or plumbing drawings while following client standards.
* For Autodesk Revit experience, knowledge linking files, setting up plan views, using view templates, and worksets is preferred.

* Knowledge using Autodesk AutoCAD is a plus

We are seeking a Hydrogeologist to support our expanding business in Florida and throughout the Gulf Region. The position will also provide hydrogeology support to the Water Resources Business Line. This position is based out of Stantec's West Palm Beach office. The Hydrogeologist will report to a Hydrogeologist Team Leader and will be responsible for designing, supporting, and executing hydrogeological investigations for dewatering, water supply, and aquifer recharge studies for water supply clients. Your Key Responsibilities
* Apply landscape design principles including site analysis, theming, schematic design, and design development.
* Assist in preparing project documentation across all design phases (e.g., graphics, grading, paving, structures, lighting, planting, irrigation, and layout).
* Support the creative process through sketches, models, diagrams, and other visual formats.
* Learn and contribute to planting design through concept development and planning.
* Prepare and coordinate technical drawings and documentation.
* Participate in construction administration, including site visits, meetings, and drawing revisions.
* Conduct due diligence and research to support project development.
* Develop technical and software skills for producing design exhibits and working drawings.
* Perform related duties within the scope of Landscape Architecture as assigned.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
* Foundational experience with relevant drafting/design software, such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/InDesign). Experience with LandFX, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, or Rhino would be considered an asset.
* Ability to engage and work within a creative and multi-discipline design practice with an interest in holistic design, systems thinking, construction, materials, sustainability, and technical design detailing.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to engage with occasional field work/site visits.
* Strong time management, critical thinking, organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a collaborative team spirit.
* Curious about the world and a drive to continue learning and developing your expertise.
* Regional and Florida plant knowledge would be considered an asset but is not required.
* Strong visual, verbal, and written communication skills.
Education and Experience
* A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
* 0-5 years of relevant experience. Previous intern or professional experience in landscape design, construction, or urban development-related roles would be considered an asset.
