Registered Veterinary Technician This individual will be a direct report for the technician team and will be responsible for several tasks including to help ensure the hospital is running to the best of its ability. Prepares patient, medications, and equipment for surgery, and hands instruments and materials to veterinarian during surgical procedures. Performs routine laboratory tests and monitors anesthesia. Job Requirements • This job requires at least 5 years of experience as an RVT • An employee in this position must have a sense of caring for animals, be able to lift approximately 50 pounds, walk dogs of up to 130 pounds.
