Job Description
Works under general supervision, supervises daily service area activities, and provides customer support to a service area. Work hours: This position requires 19 hours per week on campus. Serves as a Campus Security Authority (CSA).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Greets customers and responds to difficult customer inquiries and complaints.
· Explains and applies policies and procedures. Investigates and researches customer complaints and participates in resolving problems. Assists in the development of office procedures.
· Helps train and advise staff. Compiles data to prepare correspondence, forms, reports, or other documents. Receives and processes requests for service.
· Adds, verifies, retrieves, and changes customer order information. Acts as a liaison between the service area and other units. Enters billing charges and may accept payments.
· Process deliveries of general merchandise and move checked-in items to the sales floor.
· Shelf, arrange, clean, and organize products or space within the store.

Under the general direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager and in alignment with the strategic vision of the Director, the Talent Acquisition Specialist performs specialized human resources management work with a focus on leadership and strategic execution. The Assistant Vice President for Financial Planning and Analysis (AVP-FP&A) provides strategic leadership and oversight for the university's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical functions. This role ensures alignment of financial resources with institutional priorities, supports data-driven decision-making, and enhances financial sustainability. The AVP reports to the Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and collaborates closely with academic and administrative leaders.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Planning

Required Education and Experience

Experience: Five (5) years of related experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in higher education or a complex organization.
Preferred Experience: 8-10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in higher education or a complex organization. Experience with Responsibility-Centered Management (RCM) budget models and Anaplan, or similar planning software, are desired.

The Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center at Stephenville are seeking a highly motivated full-time postdoctoral research associate with an interest in environmental microbiology, environmental processes, advanced or renewable materials for environmental applications, waste-derived biofuels and bioproducts, and greenhouse gas control.
Successful candidates should have knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
Responsibilities:
Environmental microbiology for microbial community analysis, antibiotic-resistant genes and pathogens in water, soil, plants, and sludge.
Environmental processes, including adsorption, advanced oxidation/reduction, and biological treatment.
Advanced or renewable materials, including biochar and other carbon materials, for water purification and environmental remediation.
Production of biofuels, biochemicals, and bioproducts from various waste.
Greenhouse gas control in soil, water, and contaminated sites.

40% Fabrication: Design and fabricate custom tools, components, and prototypes to support teaching and research initiatives. Interpret and apply technical drawings while working collaboratively with students, faculty, and researchers to transform engineering concepts into functional solutions. Job Duties/Responsibilities:

This is a 12-month tenure-track position located on Tarleton's main campus in Stephenville, Texas. Work hours: Mon-Fri; 8 AM-5 PM or as work and teaching requirements indicate. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
50% Administrative:
Program Oversight and Leadership
Provide administrative leadership for the First-Year Writing (FYW) Program and the Writing Intensive Program.
Collaborate with the Tarleton Today Coordinator and faculty to oversee the Tarleton Today dual enrollment program, including publishing its assessment results.
In collaboration with the FYW Coordinator, lead monthly meetings to address shared concerns, provide pedagogical guidance, and standardize appropriate assignment types for ENGL 1301 and ENGL 1302.
Monitor national trends, research, and policies in writing studies; recommend related programmatic updates to the Department of English and Languages.
Faculty Support and Development
Partner with the FYW Coordinator to mentor and evaluate new and adjunct writing faculty.
Coordinate and deliver professional development, including:
Online and face-to-face faculty workshops (e.g., AI in writing, digital literacy, academic integrity).
Ongoing training in writing instruction best practices.
Maintenance and distribution of teaching resources on Canvas and the departmental website.
Review credentials and provide hiring recommendations for FYW, Tarleton Today, and adjunct program candidates.
Curriculum and Instructional Innovation
Support the development of ENGL 1301 and 1302 curricula to include writing for non-academic audiences and contexts.
Explore and define the role of AI in writing instruction:
Ensure alignment with core pedagogical values (e.g., rhetorical awareness, critical thinking, writing as process).
Develop policies and training materials to support responsible, ethical use of AI in classrooms.
Assessment and Reporting
Coordinate with the FYW Coordinator to conduct and document assessment of writing courses each long semester.
Prepare and present an annual program assessment report addressing:
Student success and retention in writing courses.
Impact of initiatives aimed at improving writing outcomes.
Recommendations for improving developmental and core writing completion rates.
Use assessment results to inform curricular and programmatic improvements.
Summer Duties
Oversee hiring of new writing faculty to meet enrollment needs.
Evaluate course effectiveness (face-to-face and online) and recommend revisions or new initiatives.
Update Canvas course shells for all writing courses.
Assist in recruiting faculty participants for the Conference on College Composition and Communication.
Represent the writing program during select summer orientation weekends.
40% Teaching and Service:
Plan, prepare, and deliver lectures, seminars, and/or laboratory offerings to undergraduate and/or graduate students, which may include general education core curriculum.
Develop course syllabi, select instructional materials, and design assessments such as exams, quizzes, papers, etc.
Assess student performance, provide timely feedback, and evaluate student learning outcomes to inform teaching practices and curriculum improvements.
Engage students in active learning, foster critical thinking skills, and provide opportunities for discussion, collaboration, and hands-on learning.
Provide academic support and guidance to students through office hours, feedback on assignments, and mentoring.
Adhere to university policies, academic integrity standards, and accreditation requirements related to teaching responsibilities.
Incorporate innovative teaching methods, technologies, and pedagogical approaches to enhance student learning and engagement.
Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay current in the field, improve teaching skills, and explore new instructional strategies.
Collaborate with colleagues, departmental faculty, and university staff to coordinate course offerings, share resources, and contribute to program development and improvement.
Participate in institutional service roles including but not limited to, college committees, advisory committees, student/faculty recruitment, and mentoring of new and part-time faculty.
10% Research, Scholarship, and Professional Development:

Minimum Requirements:
Earned doctorate in English or a related field from an accredited university, with a specialization in Writing Studies.
2 or more years' experience with administering a first-year writing program or a writing center.

Responsibilities:
45% Provide Career Services Programming on assigned Stephenville campus and instructional locations. Participates in programs at the Stephenville campuses and all instructional sites coordinated by Career Services. Coordinate with the Job Locator and Development Coordinator for Federal Work Study JLD tracking of student wages, positions and employer relationship development. Liaisons for the Career Services department to employers in Stephenville campuses and all instructional sites. Attend employment events to represent Career Services as assigned.
25% Leadership/Administrative/Support: Serves as primary administrator of career services programs to their assigned location or academic unit. Maintains a working knowledge of Tarleton's various degree programs as a means of educating future employers on Tarleton's Graduate profile. Provides assistance in budget planning, strategic planning, goal setting, monthly and annual reports. Coordinates marketing efforts with designated Career Services staff. Attends administrative staff meetings on and off-campus including conferences and workshops regarding career planning and job search as funds are available. Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience:

The Marketing Specialist for Campus Recreation, under unit supervision, prepares, coordinates, and creates print and online media. The Radio Development and Promotions Coordinator, under general supervision, is responsible for the development efforts of the radio station. Develops and implements strategies to obtain underwriting and funding for station operations. Also assists in administration of campus radio stations.
This is a 12-month, full-time, staff position located on Tarleton's main campus in Stephenville, Texas. Work hours Monday to Friday, 8 AM-5 PM. 50% Underwriting Sales and Fundraising:
Responsible for all fund-raising initiatives and development activities at Tarleton Radio.
Responsible for underwriting sales, including sales in surrounding communities.
Manages all underwriting, donations, and invoices through QuickBooks.
Plans and executes on-air fund-raising drives.
Works closely with the university development office and Dean's office to obtain data and identify new fundraising opportunities.
Manages radio station membership and donor relations.
Identifies grant opportunities and is responsible for grant applications.
Uses resources, such as Radio Advertising Bureau, Grant Watch, and Greater Public Media to assist in fundraising goals.
25% Administrative Operations:
Participates in the planning and execution of administrative operations.
Monitors office procedures and develops, evaluates, and ensures adherence to office procedures.
Reviews documents for supervisor. Attends meetings or committees on behalf of supervisor.
Analyzes requirements for projects or initiatives. Provides technical information regarding administrative procedures, services, or programs.
Performs special analyses and project summaries.
Coordinates travel arrangements and prepares itineraries.
Coordinates meetings, seminars, and other special events and provide on-site support.
Coordinates the maintenance of files, records, office supplies, or equipment. Makes recommendations for process improvements, administrative changes, or new initiatives.
Works with student employees on various projects and supervises student employees on behalf of supervisor when necessary.

Previous clinical precepting or teaching experience for an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant or program is preferred. However, qualified applicants new to academia are encouraged to apply and will have the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment with active, supportive mentoring and faculty development training.
Rank will be determined by reviewing the faculty member's record of years of experience and professional achievements in teaching and service consistent with the Texas A&M system guidance.
