Typical duties include but are not limited to: * Directs patients/student care to include but not limited to: obtaining relevant health and medical history, performing physical exams, identifying health risk factors, and inputting information into electronic health records. * Monitors care and suggests ways to provide continuous quality improvement. * Applies appropriate policies, procedures, protocols, and standards of practice. * Assists with the developing and reviewing of policies. * Collaborates with healthcare team demonstrating knowledge of specific conditions, diseases, and treatment therapies. * May develop and coordinate educational related to specific health topics. * Sterilize, assemble and use of medical equipment and prepares treatment room for patients. * Performs routine laboratory tests and sample analyses. * Assumes clinic and operational related duties as needed. * Adheres to and complies with HIPAA. Additional Job Description Required Qualifications: * Licensed as a registered nurse in accordance with Chapter 464, Florida Statutes, or eligible to practice nursing in accordance with Section 210, Florida Administrative Code. * Four years of professional, full-time clinical practice as a Registered Nurse. * Current American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid certification. * Experience operating a personal computer and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). * Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in college health, health education and various clinical backgrounds. * Experience with electronic health records. * Bilingual (English/Spanish).
