In addition, this position creates and implements proactive strategies to improve processes, reduce supply and purchased services expenses, and ensure best practices are in place to monitor, control, and identify issues. Additionally, this role builds relationships within the region and at corporate services to promote the delivery of the lowest total cost of supplies, services, and equipment. This position supports clinical, functional, operational, and quality criteria necessary to fulfill the organization's mission. + Oversees daily supply chain operations and initiatives within a defined region. + Manages and develops supply chain leaders to ensure continuous operational capability. + Directly manages all Supply Chain Directors, Managers, and Clinical Resource Managers within the region. + Develops and implements processes to streamline operations and create savings. + Coordinates with VP Supply Chain Operations to set regional strategy and goals aligned with corporate initiatives. + Builds and manages relationships with regional leadership to ensure supply chain strategies align with financial, functional, and clinical strategies. + Analyzes operations and expenses to achieve operational excellence and top benchmark scores. + Oversees the selection and training of new Supply Chain Management personnel in the facilities. + Serves as the primary liaison between corporate supply chain and hospital CFOs to align initiatives. + Educates, communicates, and ensures adoption of corporate initiatives and contracts. + Reviews regional statistical data, financial reports, budgets, and cost analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
