Serve as a Technical Consultant to our customers and their ArcGIS Enterprise systems with a focus on RDBMS (Relational Database Management System)/Enterprise Geodatabase (eGDB) refactoring, analysis, and optimization. Working with our team of ArcGIS Enterprise-focused System Engineers, this position will expand the breadth and depth of our consulting work in eGDB/RDBMS. Much of the team's work is Enterprise Migration and Troubleshooting consulting. In migrations, database changes may include data centers, machines, RDBMS software releases, eGDB releases, and RDBMS products. In troubleshooting, you'll determine whether the problem is in the RDBMS and contribute to diagnosis and optimization work when the RDBMS layer is a factor.
The position requires someone accomplished with RDBMS administration, performance analysis, and troubleshooting with at least one product (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.) and an interest in developing skills in other RDBMS products.
