Infrastructure Engineer THE ROLE We want you to help build our AWS Professional Services team. As an AWS Premier Partner, we have a healthy pipeline of highly technical work, and we're constantly pushing the boundary of what's possible in the AWS cloud. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing engineering support during the sales cycle, act as a subject matter expert where needed, and ultimately for deploying solutions in AWS. Expect to keep your hands on the keyboard as you not only design, but build complex technical solutions for our Life Sciences, Financial Services, and ISV/SaaS clients in AWS. The Infrastructure Engineer II is responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing a modern, cost-effective, flexible, and secure IT environment for ATC worldwide. This role focuses on cloud and network technologies (including Cisco and Meraki), servers, storage, desktops, data centers, IT security, video conferencing, and telephone operations. The Infrastructure Engineer will deliver secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure solutions across hybrid and cloud environments, optimize performance, ensure high availability and disaster recovery, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on solution design and deployment. This individual will also partner with vendors, provide advanced technical support, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, system audits, and regulatory compliance. The Systems Engineer position is responsible for providing full cycle implementation and support of customer systems, while working across multiple company departments to ensure full client satisfaction. Requirements Essential functions and responsibilities: Assess work sites, conditions and logistics for each project; Develop Method of Procedure based on pre-project assessment. Design, develop and provide documentation of systems, configurations and other pertinent information for the customer. Communicate with clients to resolve issues in a professional and confidential manner; Develop and execute client specific solutions. Manage the allocation of project resources, including software, hardware, tools and related items specific to each customer and/or project. Direct the work responsibilities of union labor personnel based on specific project needs. Design and oversee training programs for new and existing customers; Determine which customers receive training. Collaborate with Customer Relationship Managers on demonstrations for new and potential clients. Perform installation, configuration, programming and final commissioning of customer systems. Work collaboratively with installation, project management and engineering teams. Perform system wiring and terminations services, as required. Deliver on-going remote and on-site technical support for existing customers and systems.
