Completes accurate tax returns to minimize the tax obligations of the organization. Research, monitor, and learn appropriate federal, state and local tax regulations and obligations. Preparing appropriate tax forms and instruments for filing with federal, state and local jurisdictions. Coordinating, facilitating and resolving all taxing authority inquiries and audits. Mentoring junior staff on appropriate regulations, filing procedures and internal communication needs. Keeping up-to-date with and advising others of organization-related tax regulations at the federal, state and local levels.
