They will take care of all meal's preparation, laundry, and support the classroom by doing tasks given by the manager and classroom teacher. This person will also help in the classroom during meal times and prepare the classrooms for naptime. This person may also cover the nap room during the teachers breaks.

Schedule Flexibility:
Student schedule will fluctuate based on what assignments are accepted/refused. Once accepted, students are expected to follow through with their determined schedule with minimal adjustments.
Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities and Learning Outcomes:
- Complete mandatory training in Food Handler training (CD)
- Complete training on the position with the ECE Center manager (CD, PF)
- Assist the teachers in the classroom with playground when needed (CM, EI, TW)
- Assist with room coverage when needed for short amounts of time (CM, EI, TW)
- Responsible for receiving catered food, making sure food meets temperature and quality requirements (CT)
- Responsible for getting meals ready for the classroom's meals (CT)
- Responsible for preparing and monitoring allergy sensitive children meals (EI, CT)
- Responsible for kitchen cleanup, including washing dishes in the dishwasher (CT)
- Responsible for keeping the laundry done for the center (CT)
- Assist with nap time coverage while teachers take their lunch breaks (CM, CT, EI)
- Responsible for restocking items and letting manager know when times are low (CM, TW, CT)
- Perform some office duties including filing and typing during down time (TC, PF, CD)

- Must be enrolled at Oakton College in at least 6 credit hours during the fall and spring semesters.
-Must have an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher and be in good standing at Oakton College.
