There is one high school, one middle school (grades 6-8), and three elementary buildings. Lincoln School is PreK, kindergarten and first grade. PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Assists with management of the daily operations of a designated classroom with the primary concern for the children enrolled. This could include lesson planning and curriculum implementation, licensing regulation and classroom design, and implementation of nutrition and developmental standards.

Provide guidance and role modeling to members

RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal: Maintain close contact with Club staff and supervisor to receive/provide information, discuss issues, explain or interpret guidelines/instructions; instruct; and advise/counsel.
External: Maintain contact with parents or guardians in order to communicate about Club activities,explain or interpret Club guidelines, and address any conduct issues relative to members. May be required to communicate with or work closely with licensing agents and early childhood instructors.

About This Role
The School of Human Sciences, within the College of Health and Human Sciences, is seeking Child Development Teachers to join their team at the Center for Child Development. This position will be responsible for planning and implementing daily programming for children birth through 12 as part of the summer School-Age Program or in the absence of regularly staffed classroom teachers throughout the academic year. QUALIFICATIONS:
•Must hold a current Kansas Certified Teacher License,OR Standard Substitute License OR Emergency Substitute Teacher License.
•Applicants must meet the Kansas State Department of Education certification requirements.
•Knowledge and skills in proper English usage, grammar, vocabulary, spelling and punctuation, and basic math; methodologies, techniques and practices used to address the educational and emotional needs of regular program and special education students.
