Technician must be competent in fiber splicing using a core alignment type splicing machine for drops and pig tails.
Technician is required to repair underground drop pipes, re-pull underground fiber drops, and splice drops where necessary from the distribution vault to the premise NID
Technician is responsible for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of OSP distribution fiber from the Main OLT Hub (source) and FDH cabinets all the way through to the end user.

Perform assembly-type functions using hand and/or power tools (without supervision)
