Job Duties

Position Overview:
The Service Technician is responsible for traveling to customer locations to handle the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of pumps and fans in industrial, commercial, and residential settings. Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on pumps and fans to prevent breakdowns and extend their lifespan. This includes inspecting components, lubricating moving parts, cleaning, replacing worn-out parts, and testing functionality to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Repair: Diagnose and repair malfunctioning pumps and fans promptly to minimize downtime. This includes troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues, and performing repairs efficiently to restore functionality and ensure the systems are operating smoothly.
Calibration: Calibrate pumps and fans to ensure accurate performance according to required specifications. This includes adjusting settings, replacing sensors, and verifying performance against established standards to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts replaced, and other relevant details for both pumps and fans. This includes updating equipment logs, preparing service reports, and capturing clear photos for tracking.
Required Skills and Experience:
Hands-on mechanical/ technical experience
High school diploma or GED required
Clean and valid driver's license
Excellent technical, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment.

Applicants are required to have experience with the following:
Ability to diagnose/troubleshoot/resolve service issues related to integrated AV Systems
Proficient with AV signal flow, equipment functionality, and programming
Experience with installing, testing, and commissioning custom AV control systems
Proficient with various terminations including Fiber/RG6/Cat6/Compression/Solder/etc.
Comfortable with interacting and understanding clients needs and managing expectations
Familiarity with product lines including Crestron, Savant, Sonos, Lutron, Meridian, Access Networks, Panamax, Bluebolt, Future Automation,and Seura
Working knowledge of Crestron Toolbox, Savant, Dyn, DNS, etc is a plus.
On-call weekend rotation is required.
Personal vehicle use required, mileage reimbursement available.
