POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for recruitment of prospective students for The Culinary Institute of America's three domestic campuses with primary responsibility for the California campuses. Recruitment is conducted via various types of outreach, admissions presentations, and CIA events - both on and off campus. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES * Responsible for development and implementation of a recruitment plan that will include communication outreach, campus events, and personalized contact. * Communicates with prospective students through phone, email, text, and other types of personalized communications to guide and manage their advance through the admissions funnel process to enrollment. * Conducts CIA presentations to groups of students, educators, parents, and other influencers to share information about CIA and build relationships. * Participates in wide variety of Admissions events, including open houses, accepted student days, online presentations, information sessions, and other specialty events. * Gives campus tours to groups of prospective students and families with focus on key admissions selling points. * Forms relationships with key CIA Alumni, educators, and student supporters to support CIA recruitment and assist with student recruitment events. * Manages student files through admissions process including making decisions about whether students should be admitted to the college. Held accountable for food cost and stay within guidelines set forth. * Maintain an understanding of current food enthusiast trends. * Assume responsibility for equipment and facilities of the kitchen and/or classrooms. * Maintain a clean and professional appearance and set the standards for all FE kitchen staff. * Create lasting relationships with food enthusiast students. * Any and all other duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: * High school diploma or GED required.
