Summary A Field Service Technician (FST) is responsible for maintenance and service of USA Compression equipment reporting to the Area Service Manager (ASM). A PM technician, or preventative maintenance technician, ensures the lifespan of company machines and equipment are in working condition. Preventive maintenance includes regular routine inspections, adjustments, cleaning, lubrication, repairs, and replacements of parts to help keep equipment up and running, preventing any unplanned downtime and expensive costs from unanticipated equipment failure and to reduce wear and tear of equipment.
