Maintain a simplified tooling process by ensuring all responsible parties for a field project are aware of all tools sent out. POSITION DOES REQUIRE LOCATION TO OUR COTTAGE GROVE, WI LOCATION WITHIN 60 TO 120 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT. Under the direction of the Extrusion Manager, the Extrusion Technician is responsible for running and monitoring extrusion equipment, setting up dies, maintaining process parameters, and ensuring that high-quality products are consistently produced. Key Responsibilities Set up, start, and run various extrusion lines according to work instructions. Maintain process parameters within established specifications to ensure consistent product quality. Communicate effectively with the Punch Department and shift leads to maintain workflow and quality standards. Assist in training Extrusion Operators and support cross-departmental collaboration. Perform tooling setups, clean and store tools properly, and help maintain inventory control and cycle counts. Document production activities, non-conformances, and quality checks accurately. Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all PPE requirements. Support the company's IATF16949/ISO14001 certifications through adherence to policies, procedures, and documentation. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop orders, and product specifications.
