DISHWASHER JOB DESCRIPTION
Dishwashers are responsible for washing and sanitizing all food service utensils and miscellaneous items such as plates, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, etc. Also responsible for assisting in maintaining the cleanliness of the back of house area. May have additional cleaning duties specific to the restaurant.
Essential Functions
Operate and utilize the dish machine and cleaning supplies
Wash, sanitize and dry all kitchen utensils, equipment and other items placed in the dish area or as requested by Management and Staff
Available to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends
Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment
Ability to effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
Multitask calmly and effectively under pressure
Work in a confined, crowded space of variable noise and temperature levels

Quality Control Technician Intern 2026
Seneca Foods Corporation is currently accepting applications for summer internships at Glencoe, MN in the Quality Department.
Seneca Foods Corporation is one of the largest processors of canned and frozen fruits and vegetables with manufacturing facilities located through-out the United States. Its products are sold under the Libby's, Aunt Nellies Farm Kitchen, Stokely's, Read and Seneca labels as well as through private label and industrial markets.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
As a QC technician, your responsibility will be to follow established policies and procedures. The position is responsible for the testing and evaluation of products at different stages of the production process to determine and maintain the quality and consistency of our products. No experience necessary and Food Science students are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Good communication skills.
* Basic computer and mathematical skills.
* Working knowledge of basic measuring devices and machines.
* Ability to work well with others.
* Ability to work extended hours during our peak season.
* Ability to work weekends when needed.

* Repair & trouble shooting of electrical wiring, PLC's, controllers, lighting controls & electrical motors in a production environment.

Qualifications:
* 2-year vocational electrical degree and/or previous experience in 480/3 phase. A journeyman or master license is preferred but not required.

This timeframe is tentative and can be affected by the weather and crop availability. Seneca provides safe working conditions, paid overtime over 40 hours per week, 12-hour shifts (8-hour shifts for carrot pack), and on-the-job training.
The manufacturing plant typically runs 24 hours per day and 7 days per week, but shift start/end times may vary as well as the number of days worked per week due to weather and the crop that is available to harvest.

Responsibilities:
* Drive, operate, and perform daily maintenance inspections on forklift and/or push-pull forklift.
* Locate and stage products for shipping by truck and rail.
* Transfer product between warehouses.
* Assist in loading rail and outbound trucks.
* Ability to work with and keep inventory and locations accurate and up to date.
* Receive, unload, and inventory inbound materials and products.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Must have good attention to detail and accuracy.
* Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment.
* Strong communication skills.
* Good mechanical repair and trouble shooting skills.

Assigned mechanical job duties to maintain and repair food processing equipment. Completes repairs during the processing season to meet production goals. Overhaul and install plant equipment during non-production periods to be ready for the next scheduled production run.
Responsibilities:
* Inspect, repair and maintain machinery, and equipment throughout the facility
* Trouble shoot, repair, and replace machinery as required
* Read sketches and blueprints to determine layout of assigned work
* Design, fabricate, weld, and install equipment as required
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and PM completed
* Monitor equipment operation making any necessary adjustments
* Ensure that GMP's (General manufacturing Practices), safety rules and regulations are being followed and enforced
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* Must have good attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong maintenance skills
* Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment
* Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally
