Creates artwork and print design for promotions and special events for the Casinos and Tribal Enterprises. Design/create & develop multimedia (motion graphic) concepts for promotions and special events for Morongo Casino Resort & Spa, Casino Morongo and Tribal Enterprises. Duties include print design, and motion graphics work as required.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Creates print and multimedia (projects) motion graphics on a Macintosh platform using Adobe software.
Designs and produces effective multimedia and print layouts and sees the job through to final completion.
Produces in-house print; flyers, posters, mail pieces, signage and other collateral materials necessary with the understanding of CMYK and offset/digital printing process for the operation of Morongo Casino Resort & Spa, Casino Morongo and Tribal Enterprises.
Must be able to work under tight deadlines.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information.
Must be competent with Macintosh platform, as well as an understanding of PC environment.
Must have experience with the industry's recognized graphic arts programs such Adobe After Effects, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Clear understanding CMYK and printing procedures.
Must have strong multimedia skills.
Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with the public and staff.
Must possess a high regard for guest service.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED required. Two (2) years graphic art experience from an ad agency or similar background. Must have multimedia experience. Casino experience is a plus, but not required. Strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to perform in a fast paced and goal oriented environment.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must undergo and successfully pass a background investigation to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Morongo Gaming Agency.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Exceptional reading, writing and public speaking skills are important to the successful conduct of this position. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical reports, general business periodicals, professional journals or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

WORKING HOURS:
Because we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, most positions require flexibility in scheduling and may require team members be available for evenings, weekends, holidays and special events. A typical workweek is 40 hours and normal work schedules may vary based on business needs and may include scheduled shifts Monday through Sunday. Position may require overtime.
