This role in summary
Our Ottawa Materials team is looking for a Packaging Improvement Coordinator for 1st Shift 6am-2:30pm.
Wage rate $28.40/hour.
Your responsibilities will include
* Design, purchase, and implement packaging for each part used within the plant.
* Abide by all Whirlpool packaging standards spelled out in the Whirlpool Packaging Manual.
* Work with New Model Planning and external materials teams on new parts or changing parts that will be introduced to the plant.
* Work with WO to determine optimal lineside packaging solutions.
* Implement Kaizens for cost savings projects.
* Build business cases for RVP (returnable vendor packaging) which include obtaining cost quotes from various vendors, freight cost and fleet size analysis, piece price changes, and other attributable savings and costs.
* Conduct line trials on various packaging changes.
* Communication of packaging change management to the plant.
* Resolve issues with shortages in the various RVP fleets.
* Approve or deny packaging deviations sent by suppliers when they are short RVP.
* Work with suppliers and Penske to resolve freight damage issues related to packaging design.
* Ensure packaging fulfillment metric for returning the correct amount of empty RVP back to suppliers.
* Ownership of Whirlpack data and working with suppliers to ensure compliance.
* PFEP process and data ownership, ensuring compliance both internally and externally.
* RVP cycle counting and inventory tracking.
* Creating RVP shipments based on demand from Whirlpack.
* Manage RFID tracking process.Lead and Participate in packaging related initiatives that support material flow throughout the supply chain.
* Other tasks related to packaging, material flow, or supporting the Materials Engineering Team as assigned by your People Leader.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Group Floater is a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team and is responsible for providing behavioral and emotional support to the youth referred to the Group Services Department. The Group Float is responsible for coordinating and/or delivering client transportation, addressing basic client needs, providing behavioral and emotional support to clients as needed, and for regular communication with parents/guardians and other providers. The Group Float also assists other group staff in the preparation and execution of day treatment groups, IOP groups, BH Respite Groups, and/or other group services as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Provide therapeutic behavioral services and documentation thereof, including but not limited to:
support, including education and consultation for families regarding the client's mental illness;
case management;
symptom monitoring and self-management of symptoms;
assistance in increasing social support skills and networks;
referral and linkage to other healthcare, behavioral health care, and non-health care services;
access to resources in the community; and
skills building & reinforcement.
Complete all clinical documentation, including progress notes, appropriately and within departmental timelines.
Provide required amount of delivery hours per week as established by departmental guidelines.
Support other group staff in the setup and execution of day treatment, BH Respite, IOP, and/or other groups as assigned by the Group Services Supervisor.
Responsible for the coordination and/or execution of client transportation to and from group programming.

Verify inbound freight shipments and validating the quantities received against the packing list or shipping documents
Process received items in the system based on the purchase order line items and quantities. Report identified discrepancies and take corrective action with the Purchasing and Vendor staff.
Label and place all incoming parts and materials with proper labels such as: job number, unit number and purchase order (PO) number on assigned shelves, skids, or plastic bins
Assist with periodic inventory cycle counts
Work with Purchasing and other manufacturing personnel in a timely manner to return unused materials from the job shelves
Ensure the efficient and timely flow of materials between multiple manufacturing facilities
Comply with all work rules, policies, and procedures including safety and regulations
Take on additional responsibility as the back-up for the Materials Administrator when needed
Qualifications
Associate's degree in logistics, purchasing, or supply chain management; bachelor's degree preferred
5+ years of related experience may be considered in place of degree
