Decision/Information Sharing and Communication: * Must tell the system the EXACT product, actual quantities, actual warehouse locations, actual traceability numbers, etc. * Highlight discrepancies in the system regarding inventory locations or stock availability. * Seek supervisor assistance for products that cannot be found, are not available, etc. * Work well with other warehouse departments, including receiving, shipping, and order pulling, to ensure productive and efficient workflow in the warehouse. * Report immediately to supervisors or other managers any areas or items that may be a safety hazard. About the role This is an on-call position, ideal for those looking for flexible work without a set schedule. Loads and unloads materials onto or from trucks, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, forklift, hand truck and/or electric pallet jack, as appropriate. Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved. Loads materials into vehicles to prevent shifting or damage in transit. Conveys materials from storage sites to designated loading area. Counts and records number of units of materials moved or handled, breakage and spoilage on appropriate sheets. Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases and other containers. Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and wraps bundles together.
