Scope of Responsibility: The Shipping/Receiving Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the shipping and receiving departments and supervising the department personnel. Reviews areas of non-conformances and defines corrective action where necessary. * Interacts with administrative and management staff to facilitate shipping and receiving process, changes and improvements. Develops or assists in the development of and implements necessary action plans to accomplish department related objectives and to properly manage staff, safety and any employee issues. * Manages shipping functions in a cost-effective manner without disruption to key business objectives. * Additional duties as assigned.
