Responsibilities
* Team Leadership & Supervision: Supervise and mentor warehouse associates and drivers, assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely and accurate completion of work.

Qualifications

* Forklift Operator certification preferred; on-the-job certification provided
* Able to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks (previous experience is a plus)

Qualifications:
Previous experience with order fulfillment is preferred but not required.

Essential Duties:
Assemble and prepare materials for shipment or storage.
Assembling boxes and pallets for shipments
Inspect final products to assess compliance with quality standards
Maintain quality and upkeep of warehouse working areas and equipment, including machinery.
Must maintain a clean and organized work area
Obtain and process product orders
Receiving deliveries and putting away material
Maintain the picking racks through organizing, cleaning and cataloging items on a regular basis
Securely shrink-wrapping items onto pallets before shipments
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
Performing general warehouse duties as necessary
Lead a team of 2-3 associates
This position does require frequent movement. Portions of this work may be completed under varying climate conditions.

Direct and motivate teammates.
Communicate company and division information to teammates.

Create and maintain schedules and job assignments of department teammates.

Work in warm and cold temperature conditions that may range from 38°F to 110°F; a supervisor assigned to the freezer must be able to periodically work in temperatures as cold as -10°F.
Periodically stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp and reach above the head as needed.

Qualifications you'll bring as a Distribution Supervisor\:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
A bachelor's degree is preferred.
Have 2 years distribution warehouse experience, preferably in the grocery industry.
Have experience leading large numbers of warehouse staff with experience in hiring, training, motivating and resolving employee relation's issues.
Have computer knowledge to include experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Demonstrate the ability to lead by example.
Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
Be willing to listen and respond to teammates.
Have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and teammates.
Have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. SUMMARY
The Warehouse Coordinator has the primary task of receiving, storing, repairing, displaying and disposing of non-cash items. The Warehouse Coordinator is directly responsible to the Thrift Store Manager. This position is eligible for overtime pay.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
The person filling this position must have a high school diploma or GED. Two years experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties and responsibilities are given as examples of the various types of work performed in this position. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
1. Receives, stores, cleans, and repairs donated items.
2. Arranges display and storage areas for maximum utilization.
3. Assists in maintaining a clean appearance of store and surrounding grounds.
4. Assists with loading and unloading items.
5. Must be familiar with the entire process of non-cash gifts and the operation of the Thrift Store.
6. Picks up and transports donated items.
7. Issues non-cash receipts to donors.
8. Assists in operating check out lanes, as needed.
9. Assists customers and donors promptly and courteously.
10. Assists in performing administrative duties, as needed.
11. Represents the Youth Ranches and Sheriffs Ranches Enterprises in a positive manner to donors, customers, and the general public and provides exceptional customer service.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
