Brief Job Description
The Receiver is responsible for handling all incoming and outgoing shipments for the casino property. This role ensures the accurate receipt, inspection, documentation, storage, and distribution of supplies, equipment, and other packages. The Receiver plays a key role in maintaining smooth operations by supporting various departments with timely delivery of materials, while following company policies and regulatory requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

Workspace could be very dusty, and on occasions can be noisy due to the traffic of motorized vehicles operated in the building. Periodically may work outside and be exposed to the elements. Employee may be exposed to spoiled food and sharp objects due to working with damaged product. Work involves moving boxes and employee must lift, bend, stoop, pick up and move objects up to 75 pounds. Work involves using manual pallet jacks and therefore requires an ability to push and pull pallets over 2,000 pounds.
May work evenings and weekends due to special events and other projects related to timely and accurate warehousing and distribution of product.

THE ROLE

Summary
The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for helping maintain all inventory processes and working through any and all inventory discrepancies on a daily basis. This position will involve the utilization of order management systems and various types of material-handling equipment. The Inventory Control Associate is accountable for performing their duties consistently with the values and mission of Saddle Creek Corporation.
What You'll Do:
Assist customer on all inventory-related issues and acts between the customer and Saddle Creek by answering questions, offering solutions, and researching issues in a timely and professional manner.
Keep accurate, detailed and up-to-date data, logs, and inventory records in the interest of the customer and Saddle Creek.
Process customer return orders in a timely and accurate basis according to customer request.
Assist in coordinating all special inventory projects between the customer and Saddle Creek personnel.
Communicate with the customer verbally and in writing with a professional and positive attitude.
Work cooperatively and productively with other warehouse associates.
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
What We Need from You:
Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to perform any physically exerting aspects of the position in a non-temperature controlled warehouse environment, meaning the indoor temperature fluctuates throughout each season.

Remove product from storage to fill, stage, and or load orders for shipment on a first in/ first out basis. Storage locations are located throughout warehouse; however work activity may be confined to specific location within warehouse, for example freezer/cooler.
Assist local agency representatives in picking up orders.
Assist with product receipt and distribution processes as needed.
May train and direct volunteers in performing various warehouse duties.
Mark the paperwork properly when making adjustments for product shortages.
Keep accurate records on load sheets, inventory sheets, scrap sheets, and computerized equipment.
Verify all outbound product verification methods for Agency Deliveries & Mobile Distributions with the drivers to ensure orders are accurate and accounted for.
Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's.
Report any product/packaging issues.
Maintain communication with other departments, management and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of warehouse operations.
Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.

Workspace could be very dusty, and on occasions can be noisy due to the traffic of motorized vehicles operated in the building. Periodically may work outside and be exposed to the elements. Employee may be exposed to spoiled food and sharp objects due to working with damaged product. Work involves moving boxes and employee must lift, bend, stoop, pick up and move objects up to 75 pounds. Work involves using manual pallet jacks and therefore requires an ability to push and pull pallets over 2,000 pounds.
