Stand or walk for extended periods, including at least 1 continuous hour, to monitor and engage with residents. Lift, carry, or transfer up to 25 lbs., such as resident assistance aids or supplies, as needed for daily care. Apply approved Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) techniques to manage behavioral incidents, which may involve physical redirection or restraint. Respond quickly in emergencies, including running short distances or assisting with resident transfers, to ensure safety. Use a computer or tablet for documentation and care plan updates for up to 1 hour at a time. Safely operate a 6-8 passenger van to transport residents to appointments or community outings, requiring a valid driver's license and compliance with state driving regulations.
