    Job Details Waterbury, CT Part Time $19.50 - $19.50 Description The Urgent Crisis Center (UCC) is seeking a part time or per diem Bilingual Administrative Support Specialists to support the admission and greeting process at the clinic. Scheduling options include Per Diem Weekdays or Weekends 8a-4p or 5p-10p. Urgent Crisis Center is a behavioral health urgent care center that provides crisis evaluation, de-escalation, and community coordination of care for children and youth experiencing a behavioral or psychiatric crisis. All evaluations, assessments, safety planning, and initial recommendations for follow-up care must occur within a 24-hour time period and are conducted by a multidisciplinary team comprised of nurses, clinicians, family support specialists and administrative support professionals. All staff are required to work their assigned schedule but may be asked to shift/alter this in response to high workflow time periods. All administrative support specialists work a minimum of 2 agency observed holidays each calendar year. GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The Bilingual Administrative Support Specialist positions at Wellmore, Inc. could be responsible for any combination of the following functions occurring in the front desk/billing area of the agency as assigned by the Administrative Operations Manager or senior management at Wellmore. General areas of functions include greeting clients and families, answering telephones, taking referrals for all programs, handling crisis calls, billing, data entry, verifying client information, filing, assist doctors, process third party requests for information and other general administrative support functions. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to maintain the utmost confidentiality of both agency and client matters. Maintain a level of adequate productivity as determined by your supervisor. Be capable of working as part of a team. Be able to effectively communicate with both families and professionals (in writing and verbally). Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule. Bilingual English-Spanish is required. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in office procedures, customer service, and/or working with children and families necessary. Previous computer experience necessary. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and valid auto insurance.

Household Support: Assist clients with chores, including meal preparation in compliance with Department of Public Health standards. Team Participation: Attend supervision, team meetings, trainings, and agency work groups as assigned. Perform additional duties as requested by supervisors. Qualifications Qualifications: Ability to form positive, professional relationships with clients and their children. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Flexible, team-oriented, and able to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency shifts. Comfortable with electronic documentation and basic computer programs (MS Outlook/Windows). Reliable, accountable, and customer-service focused. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Education & Experience: Associate's degree or two years of college in Human Services preferred. Experience working in residential settings or with similar populations strongly preferred. Relevant training (preferred but not required): ASAM Criteria, co-occurring disorders, naloxone administration. Licenses & Certifications: Valid driver's license with clean driving record required. Position Summary: The Respite Recovery Specialist develops and monitors treatment plans with a caseload of adult residential clients toward the goal of eventual independent living. Essential Responsibilities: Provides direct care to clients by conducting individualized and group education, skill building, recreation and household maintenance activities and/or monitoring environment with clients for cleanliness, safety and repairs. Supervises and documents the self‐administration of medication to program clients as scheduled in an accurate, professional way by adhering to program policy and procedure and training. Communicates and/or advocates with other internal and external providers to ensure consistency of and accessibility to requested/needed services. May provide transportation as needed. Answers crisis hotline calls and conduct thorough assessments to determine the urgency and severity of the situation. Provides immediate emotional support and intervention, offering coping strategies and de-escalation techniques as needed. Uses crisis intervention protocols to prioritize and triage cases based on risk levels (e.g., suicide, substance abuse, violence, etc.). Responds to requests for in-person assessments in community settings such as homes, shelters, or healthcare facilities. Conducts face-to-face evaluations of individuals in crisis, including mental health assessments, risk evaluations, and safety planning. Identifies immediate needs, including medical care, mental health services, and emergency shelter, and assist clients in accessing those services. Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Valid RN license in Connecticut. Preferred: The ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of experience in Behavioral Health nursing. 1 or more years of management or supervisory experience, such as charge nurse. BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
