Purpose & Impact: Key responsibilities include the direct supervision of youth residents, providing quality care, ensuring a safe and secure environment and transporting and accompany/supervising residents on outside activities. This is a direct service delivery position at a primary location, but the position may work at any one of a number of regional group homes within a reasonable radius as shift needs arise. These group homes house adolescent teens who have aggressive behaviors. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who would be comfortable working with at risk adolescent males and females. The ideal candidate would also not be intimidated by youth who have been impacted by abuse, neglect, and trauma. Job Description: Essential duties and responsibilities * Supervise a group of 15 - 21 campers. * Assist with and participate in camp activities. * Interpret safety and health regulations to his/her group such as emergency procedures to guide his/her campers in participation in group, unit, and camp-wide activities. * Recognize and respond to opportunities for problem-solving in the group. * Develop opportunities for interaction between campers and staff. * Provide opportunities for the group so that each camper experiences success. * Set a good example for campers and others, including cleanliness, punctuality, sharing clean-up and chores, sportsmanship, and table manners. * Report any concerns or issues to a coordinator. * Follow camp rules and regulations pertaining to smoking, use of alcoholic beverages, and use of drugs. Minimum qualifications * Candidates must be at least 18 years old. * Must have experience caring for children. * Must be available Mon-Fri, 35-40 hours a week, for all 9 weeks of camp plus a week of camp training (5/26/26 - 7/31/26).
