Services include intake, referral, outpatient therapy, psychiatric assessment, service coordination, substance abuse treatment, training and social rehabilitative services, crisis intervention, partial hospitalization, community outreach, day, and recreational services for adults with intellectual disabilities, homeless outreach, and housing program. As a Mental Health Residential Specialist in a residential setting with Chartiers Center you would be committed to providing daily living support to people facing mental health challenges. Job duties include: Develop, implement, monitor, and document Residential Service Plans for an assigned caseload of residents. Completing necessary skill training in the areas of daily living through hand over hand assistance, direct verbal and written presentation of information and observation, as assigned. Accurately complete all assigned observation, intervention, documentation of resident self-administration of medication, medication counts and necessary follow-up in accordance with Program policies and procedures. Accurately implement recommendations of the treatment team to ensure consistency within the program. Maintain resident records in accordance to policies, procedures and regulations. Complete laundry, cleaning and shopping as required. Effectively respond to, report and document all emergencies/crises/incidents in accordance to relevant policies, procedures and regulations. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in human service field and one year of related experience or Associate's degree in human service field and two years of related experience.
