Job Description
Jim Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center (JTCMHC) is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Professional Coordinator to lead our Children's Department. Reporting directly to the Director of Outpatient Services, the Behavioral Health Professional Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of all phases of management, administration, and clinical policies and procedures within our outpatient services.
The incumbent will play a key role in shaping the clinical practices at JTCMHC, ensuring the fidelity of evidence-based practices, facilitating continuing education to meet the clinical needs of our community, and integrating new treatment models aligned with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Supervision: Direct and support outpatient clinical staff, providing oversight to ensure effective service delivery and adherence to clinical protocols.
Clinical Policies & Procedures: Develop, implement, and update clinical policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with current best practices and organizational goals.
Clinical Supervision Model: Design and oversee a robust clinical supervision model to ensure the fidelity of evidence-based practices, ensuring staff meet high standards of care.

Job Type/Salary:
· Annual Base Salary is $78,000 +
· Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Total Compensation range is $78,000 to $95,995 depending on the number of covered dependents. Compensation range to include base salary, retirement, and benefits allowance to help you pay for your benefits and doesn't include shift differentials.

Additional Compensation: Along with our great benefits we also offer addition compensation for working outside of normal business hours!
· Evening - extra $3.75 hr.
· Nights - extra $6.00 hr.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field to become licensed by one of the following licensure boards: Psychology, Social Work (clinical specialty only); Professional Counselor; Marriage and Family Therapist; Behavioral Practitioner; or Alcohol and Drug Counselor.

The Oklahoma Indigent Defense System (OIDS) is the statewide public defender agency which provides legal representation to indigent clients throughout the State of Oklahoma, with the exception of Oklahoma and Tulsa counties.
OIDS is currently seeking a full-time
Defense Counsel
in our Non-Capital Trial Division, Lawton office.
Basic Purpose
Provide legal representation in non-capital cases, within the bounds and forums provided by law, in all phases of assigned cases.
Defense Counsel represent indigent individuals in state court at the trial level in felony, misdemeanor, juvenile delinquency, traffic and wildlife cases; Counsel is also responsible for providing clients with competent legal advice and zealous advocacy at every phase of the criminal trial process.

Performs case management activities, this includes maintaining complete and accurate files of all pleadings and orders
Communicates with client on all aspects of the case, including plea negotiations and post-judgement proceedings, according to agency policy and standards to ensure client can make informed decisions regarding legal representation

Works under the direct supervision of Substance Abuse Clinical Director/Program Manager.

Performs moderately complex substance abuse counseling work. Education, Training, and Experience
Must have high school diploma or GED and have current Licensure as a Chemical Dependency Counselor or counselor Intern, LPC Intern, LPC, or LCSW by the Texas Department of State Health Services. If a LPC or LCDC Intern, individual must comply with terms of that supervision as outlined in the state of Texas licensure requirements. All individuals must meet the educational and experience exemptions/waivers as outlined in DSHS chapter 450.109, pass criminal history standards which includes finger prints as described in 450.115, sign a written agreement to abide by the ethics contained in 450.121, and be worthy of public trust and confidence as determined by Department of State Health Services. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen to work with this population. Must have current driver's license and be insurable under Center insurance. Ability to write progress notes according to standard, assessments, memos, letters, various complex reports and miscellaneous other documents with acceptable spelling and grammar.
Ability to relate verbal instructions, communicate in a courteous and effective fashion with co-workers, consumers, families, agencies and the public.
Display a customer service orientation; at all times treating customers with respect and as partners in the recovery process.
Skilled in the use of personal and network computers, word processing, database, spreadsheet and office management software (Microsoft Office), familiarity with CMBHS a plus.
Ability to abide by the Centers' and the specific SA Department's policies and procedures. Demonstration of knowledge of the Texas Administrative Codes specific to delivery of SA services and the ability to abide by the guidelines set forth in the TAC.
