As a Manager, Technology Risk Oversight, you will play a key role in the review, risk identification, risk assessment, reporting, and effective challenge of technology processes, capabilities, and architecture including but not limited to enterprise technology initiatives, cloud services, architectural patterns and capabilities, as well as other areas of high risk technology changes. As part of the second line of defense, this position will also collaborate closely with associates in first line Cyber, Technology, the Lines of Business, as well as other second line of defense risk management offices to perform and support evaluations of the effectiveness of the firm's controls infrastructure and offer independent advice and recommendations regarding ways to further mature the firm's cyber risk management capabilities.

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Play a lead role in identifying areas of Technology Change risk to provide oversight, analysis, effective challenge, and risk-informed recommendations and expertise
Independently drive the organization's participation in assessing Technology Changes by reviewing all aspects of changes (e.g. threat scenarios, applicable controls, risk mitigating, scope, rollout plans, etc..) focusing on Technology Risks related to technical implementation, controls, testing, and architecture concepts
Provide technical assessments of Capital One's Technology Changes and Change Management Processes to identify identify, assess, and communicate Technology and Cyber risk
Draft assessments for senior management and other stakeholders, to include regulatory agencies and the Board of Directors, as needed
Stay current on emerging cyber threats and potential implications to the firm
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and leaders across multiple organizations to achieve objectives
Basic Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree or military experience
At least 5 years of experience in information security, information technology or cybersecurity
At least 2 years experience with public cloud implementations
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional technology or security management certification (Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), AWS certification)
2+ years experience working in a hybrid IT environment that includes both traditional on-premises data centers and public cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
2+ years experience in a second-line or oversight role at a financial institution or regulatory agency
2+ years experience with implementation of control frameworks (NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST 800-53, CIS Top 20, ISO, COBIT)

Work with business partners, subject matters experts, Workday administrators and when necessary third-party content creators to develop training programs for asset protection managers as well as for companywide campaigns.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting, Payroll & Financial Management
Open, review, and distribute all incoming mail related to accounting and finance
Process and pay all company bills and vendor invoices
Process full-cycle payroll, including hourly and salaried employees
Ensure payroll accuracy, deductions, garnishments, benefits, and compliance
Manage payroll tax filings and coordinate with CPA as needed
Manage bank deposits and perform regular bank reconciliations
Prepare and maintain financial statements and departmental cost breakdowns
Record journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
Manage cash flow forecasting and reporting
Track depreciation schedules and fixed assets
Prepare supporting schedules for audits
Maintain detailed spreadsheets and financial reports
Work closely with the company CPA on month-end, year-end, and tax matters
Tax & Compliance
Prepare and file Heavy Use Tax (HVUT) reports
Manage business licenses and renewals
Complete personal property tax returns
Prepare and file 1099s
Support audits and regulatory inquiries
Maintain OSHA reports and compliance documentation
Vendor, Banking & Credit Management
Maintain relationships with vendors and service providers
Handle all disputes related to billing, vendors, or collections
Manage company credit cards and reconcile statements
Oversee collections and accounts receivable follow-up
Manage petty cash
Administrative & Operational Oversight
Maintain truck and equipment financial records
Manage insurance policies and renewals
Track and manage rents and lease obligations
Oversee reimbursements and expense reporting
Manage uniform accounts and related vendors
Oversee company IT coordination and data backup processes
Manage telecommunications accounts
Human Resources Support
Administer payroll-related HR functions
Track employee vacation, PTO, and attendance records
Support onboarding, employee documentation, and compliance as needed
Coordinate with management on employee-related financial matters
Qualifications
Proven experience as an AccountingManager, Payroll Manager, or Senior Accountant
Strong knowledge of full-cycle payroll and payroll tax compliance
Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
Experience working with CPAs, audits, and compliance requirements
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
High attention to detail and confidentiality
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced spreadsheet use (Excel/Sheets)

Position Summary:
The Plant Controller is expected to be a dynamic leader on the plant leadership team by contributing to all areas of plant management and providing financial and operational thought leadership within the Frames business segment. In addition, this position will oversee the month end close process, review balance sheet reconciliations, provide appropriate controls and compliance, and lead various manufacturing financial analyses. This position will also assist in performing trend analysis and submitting monthly forecasts. As the right hand of the Plant Manager you advise him/her on all operational and financial aspects and ensure that plant priorities are aligned with business and plant strategy.
What we want you to accomplish:
Partnership with plant manager and plant leadership team to maximize profitability of plant · Ownership of financial reporting, planning, and support of the Frames facility. · Streamline and share best practices with the other plant controllers on financial processes and internal controls. · Implement and improve inventory processes and procedures such as standard costing, cycle counting, and tracking.
Core Activities:
Accountable and responsible for producing monthly and quarterly financial forecasts for the P&L, B/S, and cash flow statement in a timely manner · Lead the plant manager and plant team through weekly (where possible), monthly, and quarterly financial performance reviews to understand how the plant/business is performing vs. previous forecast and annual budget · Responsible for providing insight and analysis on ongoing operational metrics which impact the financials: Overtime, attrition, cost per unit, efficiency gains/losses, etc. to the Plant manager and plant leadership team. · Responsible and accountable for playing a lead role in annual, and ongoing, physical inventory valuations and reconciliations across the financial statements and systems.
Responsible for leading the annual budgeting process and will ensure plant and customer service leadership are engaged from the beginning of the process and throughout the entire completion of the process · Responsible and accountable for the accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of the monthly, quarterly, and annual numbers that are reported · Manageaccounting operations including month end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. · Ensure all fixed assets are capitalized/disposed of in accordance with Company policies. · Influence decisions in preparation of capital project planning and ROI analyses. · Drive improvements in accounting procedures to improve controls, achieve higher quality, and improve operational efficiencies. · Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as directed.
