As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement of materials throughout the facility to support production and shipping operations. Your role will include handling incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring timely delivery to production areas, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities
· Load, unload, and move materials within the facility, including raw materials, finished products, and work-in-progress items, using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment.
· Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to production areas, minimizing downtime and supporting continuous workflow.
· Safely transport materials between workstations, warehouses, and shipping/receiving areas.
· Maintain and organize inventory in designated storage areas, keeping accurate records of material movement using inventory management systems.
· Collaborate with production teams to understand material needs and ensure timely replenishment.
· Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and availability.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, with material handling experience preferred.
· Forklift certification or experience operating material-handling equipment is a plus.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Basic understanding of inventory management and the ability to use related software systems.

Job Summary
Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnering with a well-established manufacturing and distribution organization in the Stratham, New Hampshire area to help them hire a Yard Driver / Material Specialist. This role supports daily warehouse and production operations by safely moving trailers throughout the facility campus and assisting with material handling activities as needed. The position is hands-on and plays a key role in maintaining efficient, safe logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a terminal tractor/mule to safely shuttle trailers between yard locations, production docks, and warehouse docks
Back trailers into dock doors, secure trailers, and open bay doors
Transfer loaded and empty trailers between buildings on campus
Conduct safety inspections of equipment and ensure refrigeration units are set and operating correctly
Document all trailer movements and maintain accurate records
Communicate with warehouse leadership regarding trailer movement requests
Conduct inventory of empty trailers in the yard and at dock doors
Assist warehouse teams with loading, unloading, and pallet movement when needed
Qualifications and Must-Haves
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred but not required
At least 1 year of trailer or yard driving experience
Strong attention to safety, detail, and operational accuracy
Ability to follow procedures and work independently
Basic math and written communication skills
Flexibility to work rotating shifts as required
Knowledge of warehouse or production environments is helpful but not required
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Must have ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds
Ability to push, pull, climb, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, twist, and grip repeatedly
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
Comfortable working outdoors and in refrigerated environments
Ability to safely operate material handling and yard equipment

**Responsibilities**

+ Align and join pipe sections using proper materials such as gaskets, cement, and couplings.

Machine Setup & Operation
Set up, install, clean, and align molds and auxiliary equipment
Start, change over, and shut down machines per standard procedures
Adjust machine settings to maintain part quality and cycle time
Verify proper connections (water, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical)
Process Control & Troubleshooting
Monitor production and adjust processes to reduce scrap
Identify and correct molding defects (short shots, flash, burns, dimensional issues)
Work with engineering and quality teams to improve processes
Maintenance & Repair
Remove, clean, inspect, and reinstall molds
Clean and inspect screws and barrels
Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on molding machines and support equipment
