Machine Operator Pay: $20-$25 an hour depending on shift! Hours: 7:00pm - 7:00am Monday - Thursday or 7:00am - 7:00pm Monday - Thursday Position Summary We are seeking motivated individuals to operate machinery used in the production of power cable and prepare finished products for shipment to customers. This role involves machine operation, quality monitoring, material handling, and basic equipment adjustments in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Review work orders and production documentation before starting tasks. Set up, operate, and monitor machinery in assigned areas such as Tower, pay-off, and take-up. Clean, maintain, and reassemble machines as needed. Monitor production quality and ensure output meets specifications. Load, replace, and splice materials to maintain continuous production. Perform routine equipment repairs and assist with maintenance tasks. Record and document production processes accurately. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members, including providing direction to helpers. Support a safe and organized work environment by maintaining cleanliness and following procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in the wire and cable industry preferred, but not necessary. Ability to read and use precision tools such as micrometers and gauges. Basic math and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Comfortable using computers for simple tasks and documentation. Team-oriented with strong communication skills.     Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Greenville, NH to hire Machine Operators for first shift. This is a full-time position with overtime available. Job Title: Machine Operator Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Some overtime may be required after 5:00 PM or on Fridays Job Duties: Set up, operate, and monitor food processing and packaging machinery according to safety and quality standards Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues or malfunctions to maintenance Ensure proper flow of materials into machines and monitor output to maintain consistency and efficiency Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Record production data such as quantities, machine settings, and downtime Conduct basic maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of machines as needed Work closely with line leads and quality assurance teams to meet daily production goals Follow all plant safety policies and use required personal protective equipment (PPE) Assist with line changeovers and equipment adjustments for different product runs Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with food safety guidelines Skills and Qualifications: Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing or food production environment preferred Understanding of food safety standards and GMPs Ability to read and follow written instructions, production schedules, and safety guidelines Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor multiple tasks simultaneously Good mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if needed High school diploma or equivalent preferred If you are interested in this position, please apply to this posting with an updated resume.
