Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate equipment in a manner that meets our safety, quality and production standards. Setup machines to meet specifications according to the job ticket provided. Refer to the job ticket to locate important information to ensure job accuracy. Run equipment at target productivity metrics to complete jobs on time. Work safely to prevent accidents by keeping the area clean and free of any trip hazards. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Must be able to read and understand a job ticket and adhere to safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Mechanically inclined. Familiarity with basic mathematics (decimals, metric units) to understand dimensional requirements contained in the job ticket, and to make more complicated adjustments. Must be able to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment and be held accountable for the quality of work produced. Ability to bend, kneel, reach, stand and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed. Job Summary We are seeking CNC Operators / Machinists to join our team in Blue Ash, Ohio. This is a full-time position for both the first and second Shifts. The role involves operating CNC mills, lathes, and/or grinders to manufacture parts that meet customer specifications and production standards. Duties and Responsibilities Set up machines using general shop tools (e.g., wrenches, screwdrivers) and precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, indicators) following detailed setup procedures. Operate machines to manufacture parts using fixtures, shuttles, clamps, and associated tooling to locate parts for machining. Complete required documentation (e.g., travelers, deviation tickets) with inspection information for parts run as required. Utilize hand and machine tools for assemblies and to repair and modify gauges, and jigs etc. Work collaboratively with other departments to assist in both product design and design for manufacturing. Diagnose and troubleshoot problems and perform repairs on tools and fixtures. File and finish workpieces using the appropriate hand tools to ensure products are smooth and that they fit together properly. Requirements: Experience with SolidWorks and CAM packages is preferred. Experience with Tooling and Fixturing is a necessary skill set. Fluent in reading customer drawings, specifications and sketches containing multiple views and sections. Must have the ability to accurately measure and perform all quality inspections throughout the process. Ability to use calipers, micrometers, surface table height gauges, dial indicators, gauge blocks and gauge pins. Manual and CNC background required Experience working in an AS9100 environment a plus.
