Job Summary Senior Oracle Cloud DBA is a key member of the IT Business Applications team. As a member of this team, the Senior Oracle Cloud DBA will ensure production uptime service levels are maintained and made available per requirements that include backup, recovery, refresh, performance tuning, and security (physical and data). This is a hands-on role for the global implementation of the Oracle Fusion Cloud Application. Essential Functions Determine the architecture and deployment strategy for Fusion Cloud applications and databases on OCI, considering factors like performance, availability, and security. Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Fusion SaaS, Oracle APEX, Fusion Analytics and VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service) Administration, OCI IAM Federated SSO as well as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, deep understanding of the Oracle IaaS / PaaS infrastructure, solid problem solving and time management skills. Knowledgeable in SaaS & PaaS Integration (Cloud ERP, OIC, APEX, FAW etc.) Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolve complex integration and application issues, collaborating closely with Oracle Support and cross-functional internal teams. Implemented Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for the Fusion SaaS Supplier Portal using Oracle OCI IAM Domain Federated SSO/SAML, and established Network-Based Access Control for Fusion SaaS. Experience with cloning activities for ERP Cloud Production-to-Test (P2T) environments refresh, validating post-cloning processes for ESS jobs, sandbox management, proficiency in using data loader and File-Based Data Import (FBDI) for user provisioning and data security assignments. Good knowledge of CUPS administration and problem solving of printer issues on premises as well as in OCI. Establish and manage connectivity between the Fusion SaaS applications and the OCI APEX and FAW databases, ensuring secure and reliable access. Perform routine administrative tasks, such as managing users, permissions, and security policies for APEX, FAW and DBCS databases in prod and non-prod environments both on-premises as well as in OCI. Implement robust backup and recovery procedures for both on-premises and cloud databases, ensuring data protection and disaster recovery capabilities. Implement security measures to protect Cloud databases from unauthorized access and potential threats, including encryption, access control, and auditing. Required/Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or similar required 10+ years Oracle EBS (11i/R12) and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud Minimum five (5) years in Oracle Fusion Cloud Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Minimum 5 years of experience working with Fusion Cloud, SaaS, IaaS and Paas on OCI. Strong experience in Fusion Cloud implementations and production support.
