We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to join our team as a Power Systems Sales Specialist. In this role, you will execute sales strategies, manage customer relationships within your designated territory to meet annual sales goals, and drive year-over-year growth in both revenue and market share. You will maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication, a deep understanding of their needs, and by delivering products and services that meet those requirements.
What you'll be doing:
Generate new customer accounts as well as service and maintain existing accounts.
Manage customer relationships to achieve sales goals and executing sales plans within an assigned sales territory.
Seek and acquire non-bid, higher-margin customers to negotiate and close sales.
Accurately maintain sales activity in BOLT (CRM) for all opportunities.
Ensure advantageous specifications by assisting in new project design.
Assist Inside Sales team in creating specifications, price quotations, etc.
Update Inside Sales Estimators and team to potential and existing sales activity
Prepare for, and participate in, call reports describing daily activity and specifics on contact made, project status, etc.
Assist project managers with new unit start-up difficulties.
Request and coordinate service department assistance as needed.
Follow up with customer to ensure product and service satisfaction.
Responds to customer concerns about the company and its products.
Become a trusted advisor for end users and contractors.
Participate in and network at regional trade shows.
Other duties assigned.
What we're looking for:
Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience required.
Previous generator sales and technical experience strongly preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong ability to lead, persuade, motivate, and influence others.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively with strong attention to detail.
Technical aptitude and ability to help in engineering designs.
Ability to travel 50% of the time.
