Join us. **Job Description** AECOM is seeking an experienced **Transportation Planning Senior Manger** to join our team in DMV geography. Work with the team in developing annual strategic plan to set targets and goals for the fiscal year. + Lead business development meetings with all relevant stakeholders and ensuring frequent and regular communication, tracking, and reporting of progress against strategic priorities and key performance indicators. + Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and engineering standards. + Collaborate with project managers and engineering leads to understand resource needs and align staffing accordingly. + Support allocation of engineering resources across multiple projects based on project priorities, timelines, and skills required. + Monitor and track resource utilization, adjusting allocations as necessary to avoid bottlenecks or underutilization. + Develop and maintain resource management plans, identifying potential conflicts or gaps in resource availability. + Facilitate communication between teams to ensure that resource assignments are clear and that resources are fully utilized on high-priority tasks. + Analyze capacity and skillset requirements and collaborate with HR and leadership to plan for future resource needs, including hiring, training, and workshare. + Provide regular updates on resource status and utilization to senior management, including recommendations for optimizing resource use. + Assist in forecasting resource needs for future projects and initiatives, ensuring the right mix of skills and capacity is available. + Foster a collaborative and productive work environment by resolving resource-related conflicts and balancing workload demands. + Develop and/or implement standardized processes, best practices, and metrics to improve operational efficiency, deliverable quality, and team collaboration. + Monitor and report on the progress of ongoing planning projects, identifying potential risks and bottlenecks, and providing solutions to maintain project schedules. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Bachelor's degree in Planning, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field and 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership. + Experience in business development, resource management, project management, and/or operations within an engineering or technical environment. + Demonstrate a strong understanding of engineering processes and have experience with aligning resources effectively with technical requirements. + Experience overseeing multiple technical teams while managing competing priorities and multiple stakeholders. **Preferred Qualifications:** + AICP certification + Master of Planning, Engineering or Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree + If an engineer, Professional Engineer (PE) License in Maryland, DC and Virginia + Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing needs, and solve complex problems. **Additional Information** + Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. + Relocation for this position is an option. Job Description The Transportation Business Line of AECOM is actively seeking experienced Construction Field Inspectors to support large-scale transportation infrastructure projects throughout the Baltimore area. These roles will involve field inspection services on complex projects, including roadway, bridge, and other transportation improvements, with a focus on quality, safety, and compliance with project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements. About Wadata The Wadata Activity, a 7-year, $50 million USAID/Bureau of Humanitarian Aid (BHA)-funded multi-sector Resilience and Food Security Activity (RFSA), aims to sustainably improve food security, food and nutritional security, and resilience of extremely poor and vulnerable households in Zinder through stratified interventions targeting communities, households, and individuals. Launched in October 2018, Wadata will continue until September 2025. Job Description AECOM has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Technician II to join our Annapolis Junction Remediation team. You will work on a diverse range of projects delivering remediation system solutions to our key clients. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively with members of the project team, clients, site personnel and office management, and work both independently and as part of a project team. In addition, the successful candidate will be committed to the team's success and growth; will rigorously apply safety policies and procedures; and will effectively manage the quality of field efforts within the bounds of the AECOM Quality Management System. The role requires a strong mechanical and safety aptitude, and the candidate must have experience working with plumbing, electrical, and general construction related trades. Duties include (but will not be limited to) equipment maintenance coordination, remediation system maintenance, and environmental sampling activities. Although this is a field position that involves significant equipment maintenance and construction related activities, there will be direct interaction with clients and the candidate must have experience communicating with clients on a professional level. This position will involve travel throughout the region on a regular basis.
