Provide excellent service to patients and visitors by answering phones, providing clinic information, scheduling exit appointments and referrals to specialty clinics. Monitor patient flow and assist with patient requests, problems, and concerns. Assist with tracking and data collection. POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Experience: One (1) year experience as a receptionist in doctor's office, clinic, or similar setting. Skills and Abilities which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position: * Must be Fluent in English and other languages particularly in the areas of Speaking, Reading and Writing * Enthusiastic, friendly, discreet, and professional demeanor. * Excellent customer relation skills. * Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills. * Good computer skills including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. * Ability to multitask and work cohesively in a fast-paced office environment. * Ability to work in an open waiting room environment, balancing answering phones and attending to waiting room situations. FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB Essential Functions * Answers telephone calls in a professional and timely manner. Triage difficult calls, situations, and cases to direct to the appropriate party and/or takes clear and concise messages. * Handles patient scheduling throughout organization. Assists in notifying patients of confirmations, changes, and cancellations. * Monitor waiting area and patient flow. Maintain professional front desk and area. * Provides clients with information regarding clinic services as well as update signage in clinical area. * Assists with coordination of client referrals. * Arranges patient transportation and interpreters as needed. * Assist clinic staff by faxing, scanning, and receiving incoming information, distributing mail, and provide back-up support to Receptionist as required. * Performs other duties as required.     Additional Information About the Role The Psychiatric Consultant supports the collaborative care team-primary care provider, patient, and behavioral health care manager-through regular consultation on an assigned caseload of patients. The psychiatric consultant advises the primary care provider on appropriate medications and other treatment strategies, also providing the care team with educational support on diagnosing and managing behavioral health conditions. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide regularly scheduled (usually weekly) caseload consultation to behavioral health care managers. Case review consultations focus primarily on patients who are new to the caseload or who are not improving as expected under their current treatment plan. Case reviews may be conducted by telephone, video, or in person. Work with behavioral health care managers to oversee the status and population health of their assigned patient caseload. The psychiatric consultant uses a registry to track all assigned patients and prioritize patients for case review and treatment adjustment. Registry functions can be accomplished through an EHR build, on a spreadsheet used in conjunction with an EHR, or can be built into a stand-alone clinical management tracking system that may or may not be linked to an EHR. Recommend any treatment adjustments through the case review process or in ad hoc consultations, including medication recommendations and other interventions, within 24 hours of consulting with a behavioral health care manager or other team members. Advise on treatment for patients who may need more intensive or more specialized mental health care, supporting treatment in the medical setting until patients can be engaged in specialized care as appropriate.
