About the Role
As the AM Kitchen Helper, you play a key part in creating a great dining experience for our residents. Key Responsibilities
Operate the dish machine by loading, running, unloading, and reporting any mechanical issues; and monitor/log water temperatures to ensure proper sanitization.
Wash, store, and handle all tableware and kitchenware with care; maintain a clean, organized dish room and ensure adequate levels of clean items for the dining room and kitchen.
Clean food preparation and production areas as needed, and assist in the dining room by bussing tables, filling water carafes, preparing tables before meals, and delivering room‐service orders.
Safely use ovens, steamers, grills, and kitchen tools, including sharp utensils and small appliances to support daily food preparation.
Listen and respond politely to food comments or complaints and report any concerns to leadership right away.

Must use ladders or stools occasionally to clean hard to reach areas.

Replaces towels, soaps and all room amenities. Restock literature that has been removed or soiled by previous guest to ensure hotel standards for arriving guests.
Wash all hard floor areas (linoleum, tile, etc.) by hand to remove dirt and soiled areas.
Dust and polish all furniture, fixtures and wall hangings including using a duster to reach vents and ceiling corners.
Strip bed of all linen and remake with fresh linen. Checking bedspread, blankets and bed pads for cleanliness and replace if soiled. Lift mattresses to check for soil between mattresses and under bed.
Check closet for cleanliness, wiping closet door, handle, overhead shelves, and restocking the guest room supplies such as hangers, extra blankets, and pillows.

Inspects all door and window locks to ensure they are in working order and alert management to an unsecured or unsafe situation for the safety of guests and employees.

Chemo, CCRN, NIH, ONS, TNCC, CPI certifications preferred but not required

Drivers must be 21 years of age or older
Drivers must have a valid driver's license and clean Motor Vehicle Report
Drivers must have or be willing to obtain a Class E Endorsement
Drivers must be willing to submit to a background check
Drivers must be able to physically manage packages up to 150 lbs
Drivers must be able to work in all weather conditions
Drivers must be able to pass a drug test and DOT physical exam (PAID BY EMPLOYER)
No CDL required! Company vehicle provided! Candidates with previous experience are a good fit for this position! Military veterans are welcome!
