GENERAL PURPOSE We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finished Goods setup and Packaging Development Manager to lead our packaging coordinator team. This role is responsible for the development, optimization, and execution of finished good setup projects and packaging solutions that ensure product integrity, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. This person would be responsible for conducting final inspections and validation procedures to ensure the finished goods meet all standards, and formally release the finished goods to the appropriate departments for use in their respective processes, such as customer service for planning order entry, supply chain for inventory, production scheduling and planning, and raw material procurement, and production for manufacturing. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that finished good setup and packaging development projects meet product protection, cost, sustainability, regulatory, and branding requirements. This role is crucial to enhancing product integrity, customer experience, and operational efficiency. This role involves managing a team, coordinating with operations, supply chain, technical services, R&D, quality and customer services, and implementing continuous improvements to optimize packaging performance. This role will routinely interact with senior management to provide project status updates, and to obtain an understanding of future strategy and direction for project planning purposes.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Drive all finished good setup and packaging development projects to their successful completion.
* Design, develop, and validate new packaging systems for existing and new products across company product portfolio.
* Drive innovation in packaging materials, design, and processes to improve functionality, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
* Collaborate closely with product development, R&D, Operations, Customer Service, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and customers and suppliers.
* Oversee vendor relationships, including sourcing, qualifications, and performance monitoring in collaboration with procurement.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, environmental standards, and internal quality systems.
* Select appropriate materials and methods to ensure protection, compliance, and performance during distribution and storage.
* Create and maintain packaging specifications, drawings, and documentation.
* Troubleshoot packaging-related issues across the supply chain and recommend corrective actions.
* Ensure compliance with relevant packaging regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, ISO, ISTA, ASTM).
* Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, waste, downtime, and packaging non-conformance; implement corrective actions where necessary.
* Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for packaging processes.
* Source and evaluate new packaging materials or suppliers in collaboration with procurement.
* Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
* Ensure all packaging materials meet required specifications, standards, and customer goals.
* Track and manage finished good setup and packaging projects from concept through production, including timelines.
* Communicate with vendors and third-party suppliers to resolve issues and maintain quality.
* Review and approve packaging samples and proofs for accuracy and compliance.
* Maintain documentation related to packaging specs and compliance certifications.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology, Supply Chain, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
* 5+ years of packaging design and development or related experience.
* 3+ years in a management or team leadership role.
* Strong knowledge of packaging materials (plastics, paperboard, corrugate, flexible films, etc.) and manufacturing processes.
* Experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG), food services, or food & beverage.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk).
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
* Proven leadership and team management skills.
* Detail-oriented with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
* Goal oriented with a customer service and continuous improvement mindset.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems a plus.
* Strong understanding of packaging materials, specifications, and production processes.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
* Experience with die lines, mockups, and technical design specifications.

As a EHS Manager Develop and refine all EHS procedures in accordance with regulatory and corporate EHS requirements. Manage emergency response capabilities. Your Impact
Provide input to site managers by identifying and tracking appropriate safety metrics and assessing performance. Provide guidance to assigned units by participating in capital project reviews consistent with the level of EHS expertise needed.
Facilitates the sharing of programs, procedures, tools, and successfully demonstrated practices. Provide safety expertise to line organizations in areas such as: incident investigations, ergonomics, electrical safety, machine guarding, confined space entry, lock-out/tag-out, emergency response, etc. Provides guidance to safety subcommittees along with coordinating team and standard meetings
Participate in the review of new projects, sites, and research initiatives to ensure proper implementation of Company EHS programs and policies, provide EHS consulting services to operations and business units. Review and interpret new and proposed regulations for applicability, develop associated implementation and training programs and procedures. Participate in professional industry groups to further develop individual capabilities and to benchmark company activities.
Manage regulatory compliance on issues relating to chemical, environmental and procedural issues and apply them appropriately to company operations Coordinate environmental plans and ensure compliance with programs such as air quality, storm water, hazardous materials business plans, pollution prevention and spill plans. Coordinate internal onsite audits/site inspections/ training to ensure compliance with permits and programs.
Participate in complex case management related to workplace injuries. Serve as the site subject matter expert in the application of applicable EH&S regulation to the operations of the facility
Your Experience and Qualifications
BS/BA in a EHS related technical, scientific, or engineering discipline preferred.
5-8 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, agriculture, or related field; with increasing responsibilities. Experience in the collection, evaluation, and reporting of EHS data.
Experience in working and communicating with others at various levels within the organization. Ability to build relationships and to gain cross-functional support.Ability to provide technical guidance and expertise, act as a subject matter expert.
Organizational skills necessary. Experience managing direct reports Preferred: Certifications desired such as CSP, CIH, etc. Authorized OSHA general industry 30-hour Trainer desired.
Experience overseeing or implementing a formal Safety Management System. Experience overseeing or implementing formal Hazard Prevention and Control Systems. ISO 14001 and 45001 occupational health and safety management system and environmental management system experience.
Your Compensation
This position will pay within the range of $72K - $147K, based on experience. This position is eligible for a bonus based on 10% of compensation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Learn and Earn Program and ensuring all personnel are abiding by DYCD and RiseBoro policies and procedures
Serve as EO-WIOA Liaison / ACCES-VR Liaison
Ensure all required WIOA program elements are provided including educational services, work-based learning, occupational training, leadership development, support services, mentoring, guidance counseling, financial literacy, entrepreneurial skills training and work readiness training
Plan and oversee work-based learning and work experience opportunities
Develop and place youth at work based learning sites and maintaining productive relationships with employers and positive collaborative relationships with high school personnel
Oversee the outreach, recruitment, application intake, enrollment, and retention process
Oversee and review all information input into the DYCD Connect PTS database
Review & approve all program element activities & follow up services
Communicate with Learn and Earn staff regularly to ensure all deadline dates are being met, all issues are being addressed, follow up visits are being made, referrals are being properly made, youths are properly signing-in and sign sheets are being calculated correctly
Prepare participant incentives, ensuring all required backup is in order and submitting requests throughout the year.
Maintain all program records
