Cashier Your job as cashier will be a blend of hospitality and operations. Aside from running a cash register and processing payments, you'll potentially be responsible for making sure the front of the store is neat and orderly and answering the phone. Process checkout and/or return transactions, as well as complete yard tickets for all sales yard purchases Accept and process payments made by customers. Fast and accurately count payment and make change. Communicate with fellow ASC employees for information or assistance using walkie-talkies Maintain a neat, clean and stocked register boat area Proactively seek product knowledge to provide customers with information and identify selling opportunities As register traffic permits; Offer customers carry-out service at the completion of transactions, return shopping carts, process returned or abandoned merchandize, throw out trash. Qualifications & Education Requirements Prior experience on a register preferred Basic math and computer skills Desire to work with people Detail focused Willingness to learn Experience working in a customer service roll Helpful, courteous and positive attitude Ability to stay in one spot for a long period of time Additional Hours can vary based on shift, Saturday availability highly preferred EEO Employer
