Job DescriptionDescription: The Extended Care Staff is hired by the school Principal to assist the Extended Care Director to supervise the school's Extended Care Program. The Staff member is responsible for the supervision of the students participating in the Extended Care Program. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provides assistance to Physical Therapists in an outpatient Orthopedic clinic Responsible for timely start of therapy sessions and clinic flow to ensure all patients receive full treatment session. Performs scheduling of appointments, chart preparation and understanding of basic insurance requirements. Checks patients in, helps explain financial obligations to patients attending therapy, collects co-pays and balances due. Use of Electronic Medical Records.
