DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Therapeutic Activities Aide, you will conduct planned activity sessions and help residents achieve their highest level of physical, cognitive, and social abilities. You will develop programs, conduct individual or group sessions, and observe behavior to identify participant strengths and needs. This role requires excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to create a safe and welcoming atmosphere that encourages resident participation. In addition, you will order activity supplies and help escort residents to events.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
Work hours are 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch. You will work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Nurse Aide at the Southeastern Veterans' Center, you will be the heart of daily life for our residents, delivering essential personal care, offering emotional support, and ensuring comfort through every routine. You will foster independence and joy, becoming a trusted presence who truly elevates their daily experience and quality of life. Some of your duties will include distributing meal trays, applying safety devices, and reporting data such as vital signs. Others tasks involve transporting and escorting residents to outside appointments as necessary. Additionally, you will maintain a safe environment for residents and strictly follow infection control procedures and universal health care precautions. Furthermore, you will have an opportunity to actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment plans.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment (8 hours per day/40 hours per week)
Work hours will be determined from the following shifts, with a 30-minute lunch. You will work rotating days and weekends, with every other weekend off.
2nd shift: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
3rd shift: 11:15 PM to 7:45 AM
Training is conducted on 1st shift: 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM.
Overtime as operationally necessary
Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
